Not exactly sure where to put this, but has anybody else heard that Yelich figured something out this past offseason related to his struggles in 2020, but would not state what he discovered? On the pregame show today, Rock mentioned that Yelich was quoted stating so at some point. I recall watching analyses on him and the only thing noteworthy was his stance may have been slightly closer together than in the past.

Im still long ATHX. My portfolio is up 186% since March 1. The CEO just did an interview on Fox News today. We will see double digits soon. Bought into ATHX after you initially mentioned it in here a few weeks ago. Couldn’t be happier with the investment so far! Very promising company that could be a real player in the Covid fight.

Circuit breaker tripped twice in 4 days after never needing to be used since implementation. This is a pretty wild drop the last few weeks and I’m not sure it’s going to stop quite yet. Over 26% drop for DOW the last few weeks.

The stock market the last week... Eesh... Over 3,500 point drop. I feel like it’s going to continue into next week.

I would feel comfortable with bringing Pomeranz back on a 2/$6-8 million contract. He has done well with the Brewers, but that is only in a 15 inning sample Also, he does walk quite a few guys which could really turn some teams away. His BB/9 the last two years is comparable to Freddy Peralta. The last thing teams want is a guy coming out of the bullpen walking guys. I think that will be a big reason that his market won’t be as strong as some people think it will be.

I’m not a huge fan of the trade, but Black definitely is an interesting get. Big right hander that throws 100 and K’s a ton of guys. Not sure how much control we have him for, but it looks like 4.5. I think Black has a much higher floor than Dubon and should help our bullpen right away. Dubon would have to hit over .300 at the MLB level to be an impact player for us since he rarely will take a walk. I don’t think that is a likely outcome for him. I don’t think we are going to regret moving Dubon, especially if Black is striking out guys as frequently as Hader. Hopefully he can harness a little bit more control and become an effective late inning option.

After rigorous investigation, and after having consulted several experts, my conclusion is that those numbers are pretty damn good. He was also robbed of at least 3 homeruns that I can think of during that span. Pretty incredible.

My thoughts as well. I can definitely see him hitting 35 homeruns, driving in 110, and hitting .320 the next 4 years. Man is it nice to have a bat like his that can match Braun’s production when he was in his prime. We are one big bat away from a very potent offense.

I am assuming that Santana will be on the way out in the next couple days. This trade hurts right now, but Santana should recoup a couple top 100 prospects back. This will not be the last trade. My opinion is that Stearns will go out and sign Alex Cobb in the next couple weeks. Looking forward to an exciting season!
