Really, it all depends on matchups. Giannis is matchup proof obviously, but Lopez isn't always the best guy to have out there depending on opponent.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I think the Bucks just need to have Lopez out there when Horford is not on the court or just limit the amount of minutes he is on the court when Horford is on the court.

It is just a bad defensive matchup when Horford is on the court and Lopez is covering him.  Horford just sits around the 3-pt line and Lopez is basically useless.  The Bucks are then playing 4 on 5 defensively.

Well if this is how they(celtics) are going to shoot from 3 then we might as well prepare for game 7.  Geeze.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

I’ve never liked the let them shoot three pointers defensive philosophy and never will. Boston is just too good a team to not at least contest those shots.

Cannot hit the proverbial broad side of a barn tonight.

The Celtics defense is absolutely suffocating so it doesn’t help when you blow bunnies. I wish we played defense like that.

Horrific half of basketball. They are fortunate to only be down 10. It doesn't help that Giannis picked up his 3rd just before halftime. If he doesn't get some help, we're headed back to Boston.

Allen and PC's defense is certainly making us miss Middleton.  Wondering what happened to Allen's shot...wow he can't hit anything right now.

Giannis makes another bad aggressive play...when we couldn't even get a 2-for-1.  Just take your time and setup the offense.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Yeah I wish he would really play with more control, especially when you’re 30 seconds away from halftime.

I have to think (hope?) that Boston's 3pt shooting will cool.  I realize they are getting good looks because that is what our D gives up, but even for that they are shooting the lights out.  That an our 3ptrs trending back to average should even this game out.

What is Bud doing? Lots of Allen and some Hill too. 3 point shooting sucks. Never been much of a Bud fan, even tho we won the Championship last year.

Chance to close it out in front of your fans and you put together this absolute trash can of a performance, once again, at home. Disappointing.

They’re not recovering from this one. Boston has outplayed the Bucks five straight games and have somehow managed to lose two of them. This series by all rights should be over already.

I guess all you can really hope for in this one is to get it to 10 or so by the end of the 3rd and hope that Boston plays tight in the 4th. Maybe the "we've blown this before" mindset will hang on them a little bit.

Allen and Lopez are just brutal.  I think Lopez is done he is just not able to move at all on defense it is like he is stuck in cement.

Missing that alley-oop with about 2 to go in the 3rd was a big turning point right now. That would have gotten them within 7 and since then Boston has extended the lead again.
