Ummm what? No way Naylor or Perkins have that much value. Also Yoho and Heuer also have too much. I would put this more as a neutral trade as Perkins and Naylor should have about equal value. Heuer probably having a little less value than Yoho.

Not sure he needs any pity as he gets a MLB paycheck and can say he pitched in an MLB game.

Greene makes more sense if you are going to give up a Pena plus package.

Screw Skubal if the Brewers trade Pena I would prefer it to be for Greene instead as he is now rumored to be available in a trade.

If you remove the first three you won’t get Miller. You will need to include one of the first three. Then three more from the remaining. The current rumors state no one is willing to meet this asking price.

I think we can eliminate Miller as a trade possibility. The current rumor is that the Padres want 4 top 10 prospects. Unless you want to give up 4 of these top 10 Made, Pena, Adamczewski, Jett, Fischer, Payne, Hardin, Letson, Knoth and Frias. I don’t see any team coming close to giving up two let alone four of their top 10 prospects. Miller is not going to be traded if the Padres insist on this as a return.

I think they increase the roster size to 28-30 players in the next CBA and expand the 40-man to 45-50. This then gives the players more revenue and gives teams more flexibility. I think they will also reduce how many times you can shuttle someone from MLB to the minors.

MLB assigns the affiliates to a MLB club. The only contract that is signed is between MLB and the MiLB organizations. MLB will determine where each MiLB team will be an affiliate of. The only exception is if a MLB club owns or is a partial owner of a MiLB club. For example Wilson will always be associated with the Brewers as the Brewers have ownership stake in the club.

The Brewers definitely lose Nashville even if the city keeps the AAA team. I don't see MLB allowing another team to have a AAA team in a MLB city. There will also be some contraction in the minors and I wouldn't be surprised after contraction MiLB looks something like this: The DSL becomes the new low A, the spring training facilities become the new High A and then you have AA and AAA. The low A and High A would have far shorter seasons. Wilson moves to AA and Appleton to AAA or vice versa. That would then open up more teams for the new AA and AAA who were either in low A high A or AA to move to AA or AAA. I think MLB will start eliminating some of the cities that haven't invested in new stadiums or facilities to be eliminated from MiLB. This would probably be the dream MLB scenario but I think in the end they only eliminate low A from MiLB.

I took this article serious until this part. Yelich is not an OF he is a DH only at this point in his career. The Brewers tend to agree with this statement as he has only played 11 innings in the OF this season. Yelich is an emergency OF and by emergency I mean if the Brewers are down to Sanchez or Yelich playing in the OF kind of an emergency.
