Watching the last two weeks, I can’t reconcile our 54-32 record. We don’t look or play like a team sporting the second best record in MLB.

It’s sad to see both Yelich & Woody being a far less dynamic version of themselves at a time when we need their best.

It’s even more sad to accept that neither is likely to return to the players we remember from previous years.

Saddest of all is the fact that they account for nearly $50M of our “small market” payroll.

Woodruff looked very good in his last outing, as I recall.

His stats were really good. His location was excellent. His “stuff” was not great.

Nice rip by Ortiz. Now let’s see what Turang can do and try to predict which side of the infield that Yelich will feebly ground out to.

My dude Jake, you are batting 3rd in the lineup and you have two runners in scoring position with 2 out. Don’t get caught guessing with 2 strikes. Come on, man.

How long do you think we have to wait until Yelich is dropped to the bottom half of the order? Dude just whiffed on a 94mph FB right down the middle and hit another weak grounder.
