I posted that pic of Buckner in the Curse the Cubs thread awhile back. I couldn't believe it when I first I saw the photo a few weeks ago. I wondered if it was doctored, but then realize Buckner was a Cub prior to going to Boston so it is believable.

When I was a kid, I had the exact same batting glove. But with a Brewers logo on it.

When I played baseball, I was always superstitious. For some reason, I always had the same style and model Franklin batting gloves when I was at bat. I wore it so much during the season, that I ended up using it during work at Target when I was a cart attendant because the grip was so great that I never got callouses when I was pushing carts in.

My batting glove looked like this, except the white part of it was all black and the red was blue.

Yeah I use Franklins for softball now. They are the best. But I think I got that Brewers batting glove at a County Stadium giveaway or I bought it at CS.
