  1. Just a little update from Ken Rosenthal: msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/6274402
  2. According to ESPN, Giles was cut by the Braves to free up money...would the Brewers ever think about him in the outfield, or move Rickie to center, and Giles at second....just a though.
  3. With the Phillies maybe getting Garcia without having to include Rowand....would brewers have any interest in him and/or Leiber in a package?? What would the Phillies want from the Brewers for either player now that Mench talks have diminished?
  4. Rotoworld With Freddy Garcia on his way to Philadelphia, Jon Lieber may yet go to Milwaukee, although Kevin Mench is unlikely to be part of the new deal.
  5. Why was JJ putz not "touchable", yet in comparison he had worse numbers than soriano and is older??? Not sure what the Mariners believe they are getting in this trade
  6. From the Arizona Republic: "Although the Dodgers likely won't offer as much as the Orioles, Luis Gonzalez is leaning toward staying in the NL West and signing with Los Angeles." This would definetly hurt our chances with a trade with the Dodgers, if they acquire Gonzalez they would have no need for Jenkins, nor Mench
  7. lol...and how is braun suddenly a 1st basemen???http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  8. They averaged 4 runs last year, and that was with Fielder and Weeks...what do you think it would look like with graffanino, cirillo, counsel, and braun plantooning between 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and lf? I agree it would be a great rotation, but giving up on fielder and weeks this early seems absurd IMO
  9. We'd win 50 games max!!! 1.5 runs scored per game results in to many loses....sure, kazmir, peavy, sheets, cappy, and bush would be awesome, but even if they pitch great, u still need to score!!!! and with an offense like that, u put to much pressure on the pitching...example would be dd, who lost numerous games even with fielder and weeks in the lineup, because of lack of production...weeks and fielder arent the problem, their part to our solution and future!!!
