Anyone else worried about the lack of power or talent that the Brewers have for their bench in 2012. hopefully they is going to be some movement with personal, otherswise late game pinch hitting is in trouble.

We are arriving in Anchorage one day early (get in at 12:00) and dont have anything scheduled until the bus from Anchorage to the Cruiseship. We are on the Diamond Princess that travels soutth to Vancouver with the stops in Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, the Vancouver which we will have about 12 hours to kill before our flight. So the first question the glacier tours on the cruise ship (Hubbard and Glacier Bay) are these just on the ship? Do we stop anywhere or is this just a cruise through the glaciers?? I would love something fun to do in Anchorage on the first day and a half, any ideas would be appreciated.

we are going on a crusie from Whittier (anchorage) south to Vancover, with stops in between. From the looks of the schedulee we will have plenty of time for excursions. Can anyone reccommend some must see/do activities?

In light of the vote of confidence that Attanasio just gave Melvin, I thought it would be fun to list Melvins success and failures. I am going out on a limb that the failures out number the successes, especially all of the bad contracts.

you guys were right, thanks for the advise. It was the secondary audio on the cable receiver. It gave it away when I went to HBO and it was in SPANISH!!!

Setting up my new home's A/V system and came across a weird situation this weekend. Basically just moved into a new home, using the same equipment from the old home. While I was watching the Brewers Game in HD I could hear the crowd noise but not the announcers, I would flip back to reg tv and it was fine, other HD stations were fine, just the broadcast on Fox North in HD...... any thoughts?

What are your thoughts on the pitching coach so far this year. He was suppose to be the savior but as it is looking so far it is not going so well. Are the players not coachable? Will it be bad before it gets better? In the start so far it appears that most of the pitchers are worse than last year, Yo, Wolf, Davis, Bush for the starters, Vargas, Hoffman for the bull pen.

Try to call the county parks office and book a group. They can meet both of your needsthat were the consecutive times 3-4 and be under $50.00. The other way is to call Hanc (Professional) in the shop 414-354-7300. This will be a great option for you with the distance from your house.

Just found out from the County that all non-milwaukee county residents who join the Dretzka Mens club can get the discount card at resident rates. Pretty cool deal....

Heading down to Tampa in a few weeks and I am looking for recommendations of golf courses to play. I will be down from Thursday through Monday so I lot of options. Also if you know of any deals please pass this on as well. I founf a Lung assoc. card which offered a great discount ($135 down to $35.00), but it is for out of season only, May-November

Dretzka Park Mens Club costs $65.00 for the year and includes the WSGA handicap service, and membership into the WSGA, WPLA, and MCPLA. We have 5 events scheduled throughout the year plus season long match play events. As another mentioned we do have matches against the other clubs, 1st and 2nd team matches. The 1st team is played without handicap (scratch) while the 2nd teammatch is played at your full handicap. Please check out the site and let me know if there are any questions. P.S. You dont have to be a member of County Park Mens club to play in any of the tournaments that they sponsor. It is 5-10 dollars more, but you can play in them.

I agree that you should hit the clubs before you buy them, outside if you can wait. You will probably find between 5-10 drivers in your price range. Also when the time is right and you choose to upgrade your 12 year old irons you will see a big difference in both ball fight and accuracy. As my friend calls it the cone of death shrinks with the new technology. Lastly, just to clarify the hybrids are made to relace long irons 2-3-4-5 not fairwoods as most people think.

Just wanted to pass along a bit of info for those who are trying to go to Boston for the Brewers series. I found on Travelocity there are current specials from Milwaukee to Boston, I just booked two tickets for $407.00. There are a bunch of options and flights to choose from, so if your travel is somewhat flexible you to might be able to find a cheap flight.
