    Good season guys. It was great playing with you and it was a lot of fun. I am definately in for next year and hopefully we can get that August game together. See you guys then.

    Yeah, not a whole lot we could do about that...they were hitting it well to the middle of the field and to right, not trying to pull the heck out of it. On a positive note, I think the sixth inning was the first time in three games where we strung a whole bunch of hits together (hmmm, coincided with my only hit in three days...sorry about the coldness at the plate guys). Anyway, the pitching was fine and I wouldnt be opposed to playing SS some more next week. We can still finish .500!

    I dont mind playing SS if wanted. No big deal if I stay on the mound either though...whatever might help us win.

    Just got my call schedule for July and looks like I am on for the 12th which especially sucks cause it is our last game...so, just letting everyone know that I won't be there that day. See ya'll next week.

    well, since the wind is blowing out of the SSW that should be out of left-center, right? perhaps the big bats will not be so big, although throwing strikes will probably be difficult for both sides

    I do agree that there were A LOT of balls hit to short center in the game...there was nothing we could do about it though...We had them played like we should and I am sure if we moved positions and made some sort of short center position we would get equally screwed over. Again, no one's fault, just bad luck. Hopefully next game they will hit the ball at us more instead of the bloopers. As for no one being at second when the ball is landing in short center, I take the blame for that...Sorry, and I will do my best to be there in the future. Let's not dwell on the unlucky plays though...GREAT GAME GUYS! A total team effort...everyone picking everyone else up and such. Let's get them next week.

    woo hoo!!! way to go team...we needed 8 or 9 hits in one inning and we did it! Lots of help from everyone, and I agree, good pitching Matty! The SS position was kinda dead tonight in that only 2 balls were hit to me (one of which was off of Matty's wrist) cause they were good hitters, but it was fun to play the field too...good to know we have some fresh arms when needed to hurl on the mound. And sorry I got there at 8:57 after two pitches were thrown, but it all worked out. Anyway, see ya'll on Tuesday night.

    the brewers got REALLY lucky it worked yesterday (thank you 2nd base umpire too)...trying it two days in a row..that is dumb with your 4 hitter up...even if it is hall
