I was hoping they would give Hardy a day off before or after the off day, to get him two off in a row (same thing with Weeks). In a effort to keep him(them) fresh. 02john

After coming off the DL I thought (hoped) they would get him two off days a week. By resting him before or after the team off day. While this probably won't help his wrist heel it could help with the pain management. It seems when he is pain free he has been more effective. johnR

I was wondering how much each of the all stars would get in bonuses for making the team? I wonder if Prince and JJ will get a extra little pop in their salary next year? I know the team doesn't have to. I think they have given players a raise in the past. johnR (Edit: gave thread more explicative title --1992casey)

I liked her in her first movie! johnR

Sounds third baseman Ryan Braun doubled in his lone plate appearance before being lifted for a pinch-hitter in the fourth inning. It was the prospects Pacific Coast League-leading 16th extra-base hit of the season and his ninth double. Sixteen of Brauns 24 hits on the year have gone for extra bases. I took this off of the Sounds web site. They make no mention of any reason why!
