    One quick thing regarding the sound during the show at the reception. Work with the DJ to hook directly up to his receiver from your laptop. Most people just put the microphone right up to the laptop speakers and it sounds horrible. Our video was about 12 minutes long and seemed to work out fine...we played it during dinner.

    Does anyone know if the game will be broadcast on a local channel in Milwaukee, I would like to catch some of the game at work on TV, but they don't have cable.

    We saw Kapler at Karma yesterday while we were watching the football games. He was just there by himself eating a quick meal and catching some of the games. Everyone pretty much left him alone for most of the time. After he was done with his meal we approched him and just had some small talk. He said his shoulder was alright (pretty much what I expected him to say.) He wants to rejoin the team on the road trip. I was suprised he wasn't on the trip now. We also mentioned that we are not part of the group of fans that are getting a little press for the boooings. Then he went on a mini rant where he said, "the booing really doesn't help anyone, especially the other day when gagne got booed before he even threw his first pitch." We also said that that tonight's game (game 2 of the double header) was a pretty big one, he said, "you have no idea." All in all, he was pretty classy and genorous to talk with us for a couple minutes. He signed a brewer schedule that I had, and signed my friend's lifesize cardboard cutout of the Bratwurst racing sausage. He seemed to like that one.

    So sad....so sad. This past weekend we had our cat outside on a leash and she got all tangled up underneath the neighbors wooden porch. We couldn't pull her out by the rope because it was wrapped around all of the posts. Luckily she ended up in an area where I was just able to fit my arm into and I was able to pull her out. But I was pretty much ready to rip that whole porch apart to get her out. The little guy just pulls on my heart strings.

    I just noticed it this year. We developed a drinking game out of everytime prince takes a huff. It only lasted one game because it was just too much drinking. But he seriously does it all the time.

    Menotti, 1. My internet will eventually be the "slowest" option. (the first month I needed to get the U400 and 2nd tier internet to get $100 cash back), then after the first month I'll call them up and switch to U200 and the 1st tier. 2. So far it is on par with TW and I have no complaints about the speed. I just had the normal roadrunner at the old apartment. 3. The U200 includes all the ESPN/2, FSN, BTN, and NFL in HD. The U200 package basically has all the HD channels you would like, but just no movie channels. 4. Hard to say right, now because I haven't found the actual storage capacity for the ATT DVR, but for the first month I've been recording movies from all of the free movie channels and my normal programs and have had no warnings about capacity or missed any scheduled recordings. Hope that helps, it is nice to just finally have some more competition in the market place so hopefully those who like TW for some reason will see eventual price decreases to become more competitive. eh...but who knows.

    I just moved into a new house that can get U-verse, it takes some getting used to after a whole life of Time Warner, but I'm starting to love it. Here's my details.... 2 HD boxes (U200), DVR, and Internet for $85/month. (my house now has 2 HD streams so I can watch two HD channels in different rooms.) I got $100 cash back and for the first month I get U400 and the 2nd tier of internet, which will cost me about $25 with an additional $50 cash back. Previously I had 1 SD box, and internet for $100 with Time Warner. I've heard some commercials lately blasting U-verse from TW, and to me they are just comical, about how TW has free HD and ATT you have to pay. Well, if the total package price is lower after everything they your argument doesn't hold much weight. They've also been blasting how long the instillation takes. Which I agree does take a while, but I was able to call on a Friday and get an appt for the next day. Plus there are no installation fees, and we were partying it up while the installation guy was there and it was hardly an inconvienence. I love the switch!!!

    I'm planning a bachelor party for later this spring, has anyone been to Chicago Indoor Racing and done the group event? If so, did you think it was awesome? How about the bar/pool hall area for a possible pool tournament after the racing?

    According to the foxsports article, "The Rangers would receive left-hander Kason Gabbard and an additional player or players in the deal, sources say." If that is all that they needed, I would have much rather traded the Inman package to the Texas for Gagne rather than for Linebrink.

    I also found myself disliking that site, there is so much useless space (besides the actual words) to scroll through. I think that most good ballplayers need to be somewhat cocky to remain confident. But I don't see how Braun would rub people the wrong way. He doesn't seem to showboat on any homeruns, unlike when the cubs acted like they won the world series when they beat the brewers in walk off fashion.

    Oh my, I thought this was about DeRosa's backdoor hug. After taking a second look, whoa...I don't ever remember that being an acceptable celebration during sports.
