In what way? I don't mean that sarcastically; I'm not knowledgeable enough about the topic to know if/what it is wrong about it.

I guess I don't quite understand the view that since we are doing very well, we shouldn't be bothered by poor decisions. We have a 5 game lead on the Cards...but it COULD be better with more efficient bullpen and roster management. Believing that doesn't make us greedy and grumpy fans, it just means we wish more logical decisions were made. The marginally better, stretched out Cruz will most likely give us a better chance to win than the non-stretched out Estrada. No matter how small that improvement is, he should start for that reason.

The bottom line is: Who gives us a better chance at winning, Hairston or Kotsay? I understand playing Hairston and switching the order to have a competent hitter in the 3 hole might only increase our chances of winning by, say, 1% (completely made up number). But I want a manager who maximizes our chance at winning every single night, and RR doesn't do that consistently enough. That extra 1% per game still has the chance to be the difference between winning the division and missing out on October baseball.

The Saturday tickets are sold, but Friday is still available.

I have 2 extra tickets for both the Friday and Saturday games this weekend at Fenway. They are Grandstand seats and are $55 per ticket. We will sell them for face value. We would highly prefer Brewers fans to get the tickets, and any brewerfan.net folks would be a bonus. There's no such thing as a must-win on May 4. It'd be very nice to get a W, but it's a long, long season.
