  1. they had alot of hits, just couldnt drive most guys in. plus, what could someone in the clubhouse say, "okay, besides all this being the bullpen's fault, namely turnbow today and cordero yesterday..." ?
  2. its pretty simple with turnbow: if he gives up a hit or walk to the first batter, he's terrible. if he gets the first guy out, he's lights out. simple formula for yost.
  3. i wasn't saying it to be mean. i was just making an observation, and many people put themselves in denial, like myself, by thinking we can pull out of these games, especially when we've all seen the brewers blow so many leads and lose in heartbreaking fashion, nearly every week.
  4. because you're being realistic, unlike half of the people on here.
  5. we've beaten wells once before and we should do it again. go get 'em brewers, and please no more close games, my heart can't take anymore.
  6. i would try to stop watching this group of losers, at least on the road. im not saying be a fairweather fan, but monitor them only slightly, and be prepared for a lot of losing. that way, if they win, it makes u feel better and u didnt have to put up 6 hrs of ur life to watch 2 brutal losses, let alone all the other games. im just saying to pay less attention to the standings and all that, and just look at it like baseball. THERE ARE 2 MONTHS LEFT. i highly doubt the brewers are just gonna lean over and miss the playoffs. trust me, we'll turn things around. ("u" instead of "you", "ur" instead of "your"? please, no AOL-speak --1992)
  7. how bout we call cordero jeckell and hyde. jeckell being the home version and hyde being the away....at least until he finds a "remedy". i think it should stick
  8. the problem is, on the road, it seems like if we score first, they always catch up and beat us but if they score first, we never catch up. i cant remember the last time the brewers made a comeback of 4+ runs to win. i think its time to finally return the favor to all these teams.
  9. with the cubs facing harang and us facing 2 really, really, really, really, etc bad pitchers, we coulda been 4.5 up after today. now we'll be lucky if its 3.5. o well. has anyone started a thread on anderson being a pessimist. seriously, he says the same thing over and over and he basically says non positive things. he also says the most obvious things like, "the brewers havent scored since the 3rd"...well duh, i can see that from the box score. jeez he annoys me.
  10. who are we kidding? its not just cordero whos bad on the road but the whole team, except braun.
  11. their spirits are probably in shambles, as are mine. u know why we lost? that brian anderson with his "____ retired 6 consecutive" and "the cardinals have scored 3,4,5 unanswered" ...that guy needs to learn how to shut up from time to time.
  12. i think from now on we should have a ROAD bullpen and HOME bullpen. seriously though, this is for all those ppl that think it was better to stay pat during the deadline. ("ppl"? please, no AOL-speak --1992)
  13. get some sleep and think of everything they did right on friday...and do it again saturady. same with the cubs except they they think of everything they did WRONG.
  14. thats what im talking bout
