  1. I curse the Yankees and their Taj Mahal stadium for 1,000 years.
  2. This may have been posted already, but 670 AM in Chicago noted this morning that Rick Sutcliffe will replace Brenly on the TV broadcasts as he's about to be named the Crew's skipper.
  3. What stood out for me were the high number of 20 year old guys who were totally hammered. It reminded me of the 1980's http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. During the last Talking Brewers he mentioned that the team is looking into updating both the player and fan clothing options. A guy called in about the lack of Milwaukee on the front and Mark said they unfortunately can't just go out and change things quickly. I guess the designs are locked in for X number of years per MLB rules. I too would love a gray road jersey with the city noted. I attended opening day and a very cool sweatshirt was list price of $150. How can a team expect fans to show support and wear their gear when the pricing is so ungodly high. I bet the garment cost the team $10.
  5. First off, I'm a glass is "half full" kind of person so most of my life I'm pretty optimistic. This time though I've had enough and the radio and TV will be off. There's plenty of baseball left, but does anyone here think we can honestly play over .500 the rest of the year? Ned needs to light a fire with all the "gamers and scrappers" he trots out there everyday. Who exactly is the leader of this team from the player side? Whoever that is (or whoever wants that role), step forward now! It seems like the players are quietly looking at each other and hoping someone will ingite a rally. It may happen, but we're pretty young and this years good and bad should help in the future, right? Oh, and thanks again to a certain "ace" who again is watching the debacle from the sidelines.
  6. Will Doug sign him to another 3-5 year deal sometime next year? I'm not convinced he's a guy we absolutely MUST have, and I think our current crop of pitchers will take care of business just fine. That being said, a hometown / injury history discount would be dandy. Also see Ben's injury diagram in todays Journal Sentinel article. A Sheets edition of the "Operation" game may be a nice seller in Wisconsin.
