  1. I'll be at Wrigley Thursday. Man, I wish I would have known the Cubs would be horribly pathetic. I severely overpaid for some corporate tickets back in April http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif
  2. I would never want Prince away from Milwaukee, but if the Brewers had to trade him....trade with the Giants for Madison Bumgarner, Angel Villalona, and some other filler. We'd have our #2 pitcher of the future, ready for next year and a future stud 1st baseman.
  3. I know this is a pipe dream of mine, but if the Brewers could trade J.J. Hardy or Corey Hart to the Giants for Madison Bumgarner, I'd do backflips. On the surface it looks like a "give-up" trade and Bumgarner probably wouldn't get more than a cup of coffee this year. I just think Escobar could provide the speed aspect we desperately need at lead-off and will provide good enough defense to get by. As everyone else said, pitching is thin on the AAA/AA level for the Crew and Bumgarner could step in to fill a much needed spot in the rotation as early as this year. Maybe the Giants would trade him since they have Cain/Linceum and Tim Alderson following soon. EDIT: Come to think of it, Baltimore has some good pitching prospects also. Matusz, Tillman, Arrieta, etc.
  4. I know I'm probably in the vast minority about this, but I can't stand Bruce Springsteen's music. Going Down has to be one of the hardest songs to ever listen to. I'm going down down down down I'm going down down down down I'm going down down down down Etc. Etc. UGH!
  5. It stinks that we have to listen to the "Chicago Shill" Dick Stockton. You could always hear his bias during Bear games. Hopefully we can keep his excitement to a minimum today.
  6. Thanks TheCrew for sharing the videos. I'm heading up to Appleton later this month to see the T-rats play the Chiefs. Meadows looks like he has some good off-speed stuff based on your video. I know Adams is a much higher draft pick, but Meadows seems as though he has a plan on the mound. Not bad for a 40+ round pick!
  7. FLA (2-2) ATL (2-1) COL (1-2) CWS (2-1) CLE (2-1) DET (1-2) MIN (1-2) SF (2-1) NYM (2-1) 15-13 with 24 HR's
  8. I fully plan on using this deal for the April 30th game vs. the Diamondbacks. Thanks Jamie and thanks Brewers. Gotta take advantage of these offers when I can.
  9. I'd love a chance at the Barrel man bobblehead. Thanks!
  10. I would love a shot at the grab bag! I know I don't post much, but I've lurked forever. Hope that doesn't go against me http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif. Thanks!
  11. Pedro, please add me to your potential list of contestants. Thanks!
  12. My avatar is a group of people (including myself) after the August 29, 2007 Brewers/Cub game in Wrigleyville. It's always nice to meet Brewer fans in enemy territory.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. Count me in too, Pedro! Gracias!
