  1. Maybe the Brewers need a clubhouse or dugout fight to get them going.
  2. The post game show is nothing but a bunch a filler junk.
  3. Mench was telling Sheets that he gets the window seat on the way home.
  4. The team is playing like a golfer that Birdies the first 2 holes and is say 1 under after 7 holes. And he just knows that something is going to go wrong and doubles the next hole and triples the ninth hole for his normal 40.
  5. Suckers-- that seems to be what all the Brewer fans have plastered over their foreheads. We just continue to waste our time hoping. I have said it before and been blasted but I will say it again (and it just not from today)-- Rid Yost and his sick smirks over his face and Rid Jenkins and his losing aura.
  6. I have it on in the background. For the first 25 minutes of the second hour---ZERO calls. Just two guys (Unit and Lance Allen) babbling back and forth about "stuff". If I were running the station this guy should be FIRED. It is a total waste of 2 hours of airtime. Ship him back to Cincinnati for a bag of peanuts. He took ZERO calls for the whole 2nd hour. I guess either nobody listens to the show or nobody gives a rip about Sports and the Brewers in the Milwaukee area. They should put on another 2 hours of Sykes or Wagner, at least maybe someone would listen or call in.
  7. Can anybody stand listening to this guy on WTMJ? The Brewers are in the heart of their season. Tonight in the 1st hour of the show he babbles on about talking Brewers baseball and taking calls about Brewers baseball for the 1st hour. SO, how many Brewers baseball calls did he take?? TWO, yes 2. He also took 2 calls about NBA basketball. This guy is such a joke when it come to Sports Talk radio. We has to listen to him babble about his day. We had to listen about NFL, NBA and Packers Mini Camp starting. Come on WTMJ-- get someone that actually wants to "talk" about sports rather than babble about it and take a total of 4 calls and brag about how he has a cast of thousands on the line. I know he is only slightly worse than the 2 guys that talk to each other on the weekends and also don't take calls. Is it a show for the callers or a show for them to get on their "Soapbox"?
  8. On the "Big Unit" show tonight he kept on bringing up the possible chance the Brewers could have their Sunday game moved to ESPN at night. Is this possible? I thought they had to give more notice. ("broadened" thread title --1992casey)
  9. Will there be 30,000 empty seats--No. But I would bet there will be at least 5,000 people that show up late. There are a lot of people that bought the tickets months ago and don't follow Baseball and the Brewers like the people on this board. Big deal if they have signs at the ticket windows at MP-- 90% plus of the people going to the game Saturday didn't just buy their tickets at the ticket window at MP last Thursday. And not everybody lives in Milwaukee that attend the games. The fact is-- some people look at the tickets and it states 6:05 and that is when they will show up. I would like to hear on Saturday night or Sunday morning of those that attended the game if they have any stories of people showing up WAY to late.
  10. My question is-- Does everybody know the game has been moved up to 2:55pm?? I was golfing with a guy yesterday and he stated that he was going to the game Saturday night-- I had to inform him the game had been moved to 2:55. This morning at the Dentist, my Dentist stated his family was going to the game Saturday night-- I had to inform him they would be late at 6pm. Is the word getting out that the game is at 2:55pm?? There might be a lot of tickets sold but maybe not many butts in the seats.
  11. That is right-- better to be bullheaded, prove a point and get a loss than do the right thing and maybe get a win.
  12. But it is always funny to read the boards in the off-season that the Brewers have such a low payroll, they need to spend money and get with the "Big Boys". Now they spent the money and it seems to be wrong again. You always have to wonder why the Cradinals, in this case, didn't think he was worth all the extra dollars. I would just wish that there would be a stop to all the "Bush" talk of taking him out of the rotation when it is Suppan and his dollars that really needs the start skipped.
  13. Mets and Cubs on Aug 5th over Brewers and Phillies for ESPN and National TV any day. They would break any rule to get the Cubs and a New York team on National Television again.
  14. Just tough it out and play through the rain.
  15. I always liked Roma pizza-- do they still make that brand?
  16. Anybody that has never heard of the phrase Camp Randall South or Camp Randall West must never have followed any Badger Football. It is only always used when the Badger fans take over a Stadium such as the Rose Bowl, Northwestern, Minnesota, Tampa, or other places-- Just tune in to the UNLV/Wisconsin game this fall-- it will be called Camp Randall West. Tune in Wisconsin/Minnesota this fall--it also will be called Camp Randall West.
  17. But yet it is ok when Badger fans travel and they have Camp Randall South or Camp Randall West??
  18. Ned Yost=George Bush. It is always their fault.
  19. He could have used Cappy as a PH if the bench is so thin.
  20. Wouldn't we need a pitcher for another inning, Bill??
  21. Sorry, the story would not have been the same if the Bullpen would have been called on right away on the top of the 7th. The bullpen would not have stunk starting off an inning.
  22. Is there a rule that Shouse can only pitch to a left-handed batter?? Why even have a player/pitcher on the team if his value is to only face one batter??
