    B-Man, You're right, pitching isn't a very athletic activity until somebody drops a bunt down and he has to stop on a dime with that knee or cover first base and risk running into someone again...(knock on wood) hope that doesn't happen tonight!!!

    With Zambrano going down (his arm slot has been mentioned to have dropped several inches by several MLB scouts over the last month) (he has been terrible in his last 3 outing with a drastic dip in velocity) the Cubs are going to be in deep [expletive deleted]! They are skipping Harden's next start this week as well as a precautionary measure. The Brewers have games against the following teams: Padres (4) Red (6) Pirates (3) They should be able to win 11 out of the 13 games against those 3 teams! Mets (1) Cubs (6) Phillies (4) They should be able to win 7 out of the 11 games against these 3 teams. This would make them 18-14 to finish up the season. While not a great record...this should be enough to get them in the playoffs!!! Take a look at the Cubs schedule from here on out (It's Scary for a team battling arm injuries). I am more worried about Houton making a run as they're schedule is extremely weak and they are on fire right now having won 7 in a row and showing no signs of slowing down! Brewers (6) Mets (4) Cardinals (6) Astros (4) Reds (3) (edited for language, tossed in link to Zambrano thread --1992)

    Does anyone know how much it costs for him to perform surgery on a regular patient without insurance coverage as he is a specialty doctor(specifically on a torn/frayed rotator cuff or labrum)? Any help would be much appreciated as I am trying to see if it would be feasible to have him perform an operation. Thanks in advance!!!

    There is no way that Weeks will be shopped this offseason!!! Everyone needs to get that through their heads!!! I'm pretty sure the front office is banking on him tapping into his ridiculous potential and won't be willing to sell short on the former 2nd overall pick in the draft. Hall and Hardy are completely different stories!!!

    Boy that sure sucks!!! They didn't give up much at all for him either. Sean Gallagher, Matt Murton, Eric Patterson and the Cubs also get Chad Gaudin too!!! Why would Beane do that trade?!!?

    Sheetskout you're insane!!! The Brewers aren't giving up 2 of their top 3 prospects for that. I would give one of them to get Harden for sure but not both. I would package lesser players in the deal.

    I'm a huge Harden fan as several high ranking baseball officials have said that Harden's "stuff" is in the "top 2" in baseball as far as pitchers are concerned. He rarely stays healthy even over a period of a month and a half (this year being the exception). However, it would take 4 prospects to get him including 2 of our top prospects. A word to the wise...the A's haven't been this good for this long by accident. Billy Beane is the best GM in the game as far as recognizing talent. I wouldn't go near him if I was a GM because every guy he trades for seems to turn into a stud or close to it (see Dan Haren, Joe Blanton, Johnny Damon etc.) So whatever players he targets in a return for Harden other teams better take a long hard look at to wonder why Beane is interested in those guys. With that being said...if the Brewers were able to land Harden (and he stayed healthy for the rest of the year) I would say the Brewers would be the odd's on favorite to win the World Series. Of course if they went out and got another starter like Harden they absolutely not stop there...they would immediately go out and get another reliever to solidify the bullpen, in effect, putting all their eggs in one basket to win it all this year and next.
