  1. Is there going to be a BF.net playoff thread for the Bucks? Or I assume it's being kept in here?
  2. I'm guessing it's just early season rust for the pitchers. I'm confident guys like Gallardo and Davis are going to settle down and still have some solid games. I'm also wondering whether or not Peterson has them thinking too much, and if it is going to take a while for them to do what he's telling them effectively. Especially with his intense analysis of the pitching form.
  3. The more I think about it, and the more I realize that there's no way we're signing Fielder, the more I realize that this season (or off season) is the time to trade Fielder. Even if we are still in it in July, I would not be made to see them deal him at the deadline for major league ready talent. Gamel or McGehee (for some reason I thought he might have played there before) could fill in at first to finish out the year, and we could tread water until the 2011 FA class. The Phillies did it with Abreau in 2008, and look what they did that season, and where they are now. The Red Sox are the perfect fit for him. They got some young players that would look really good in Milwaukee too.
  4. That was a terrible game to be at. What a mood swing.
  5. For those interested in going to a game at Wrigley, I have three available for the April 15 game. I will post them on stub hub if no one responds within the next few days, but I would prefer they get in the hands of a Brewer fan so I thought I'd post them on here first. Here's the information: Section: 525 (Brewers side)Row: 9Seats: 108-110 For those of you who have never been to Wrigley, I've sat in similar seats before, and they usually offer a pretty decent view (there's always a chance for one of the beams, and to be honest, I don't know if these specific tickets have any in the way). I will sell them for $8 a piece, which is below face value ($10). We can work out a way to exchange them if you are interested.
  6. I find it interesting that he had better stats on the road than he did at home last year: Home: 4-3, 3.63 ERA, .229 AVE, 15 HR Away: 7-4, 2.78 ERA, .224 AVE, 9 HR I think Ted Lilly is a comparable pitcher out there in regards to what we can expect from him. Let's just hope he stays healthy.
  7. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/07/brewers-rumors-buyers-or-sellers.html Just thought it was an interesting if not different name to be heard. Couldn't take much to get him, and that's quite a high ERA for the park he pitches in. Kind of a bleh move for me.
  8. Has anybody been able to figure out how to install the game onto a MacBook Pro? I've downloaded it, but for some reason when I go to open it up, it comes up with an error message. Luckily I haven't bought the game yet...
  9. Has anybody tried this game out on Mac? I recently just got a MacBook but have played up to OOTP 2007 on Windows; however, it isn't available for Mac. I was just curious before I make my $40 investment into the game. EDIT: I was curious to here what people who have had experience with both OOTP 8 and OOTP 10 say about the difference/improvement in the most recent release over OOTP 8. Going off to college, I am in a bit of a bind financially, and I am considering just buying the $20 version of OOTP 8 instead of shelling out the money for 10. Is there that much of a difference? Would it be worth it to just buy 10? What do you guys think?
  10. Well, on the site it uses "or" suggesting he'll part with neither. He'll be a Phillie by the end of the weekend. That's my prediction.
  11. Good to hear the MLB Official make a point to mention the untuckem tradition. Just for those Cards http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
