Agreed...he hung a slider that gets hit into outspace by Fielder if it wasn't that exact kind of situation in a last at bat in the 9th and he's only looking for the heat. Worked out for us but he hung a slider. I'd bet my car this will be decided by the rubber game Wed.

Public comments are all those are--just like you said. What do you expect players to say publicly? It's what they say to people when there ISN'T a mic in front of their face that carries a lot more weight. If you want to play detective, I would try to get more evidence than the quotes you find in the paper.

We are not like you. We don't get all goosebumpy when bad things happen to you--we just like when good things happen to us. It's the Cards who we hate. For the record though, it's my opinnion that when you team responds to this guy and goes into the playoffs playing well for the last two weeks, none of you will shed a tear for losing one Ned Yost or think your owner mettled in a situation he didn't belong.

Not sure if this is a double post-sorry if it is... This is not welcome news to anyone--especially as a cub fan. The one thing we could count on with the Brewers is that they would have a manager that would not help matters, whatever they were. I'm impressed that you're GM had the guts to do this even if he was the one who hired Yost in the first place. This could be a spark for you guys.

Makes sense. Fans trying to blame a side depending on what team they are cheering for is what's annoying... but I'll get over it. You guys have a great team and I doubt anyone is looking forward to facing you.

Agreed--he is a tool. And so are you if you actually believe that Pujols had that kind of a problem with Carol just celebrating. Seriously trw? You honestly believe that? I'm shocked that you are being such a homer but whatever, I am just trolling on the enemy's board to see if they have any smart fans out of bored curiosity (and there are a few) so I guess I don't have much of a right to gripe.

Albert might be a tool like Fielder but Carlos clearly did more than pump his fist. He looked at Albert and said something. Nothing worse than homers who can't even state things as they happen but have to put it in a light favorable to their team. Call a spade a spade for godsakes. I may like the cubs but if we get a lucky call, I say we got a lucky call. If Zambrano acts like a fool, I say he acted like a fool. Seriously, nothing worse than homers. You are flat out wrong. Go back an look at the tape. It's clear Albert instigated the situation. P.S. If you don't like reading about Brewers fans being passionate about the Brewers, don't troll. It's one thing to root for your team and it's another to be a complete homer and only see what you want to see. The the whole world thinks Carlos instigated something but you guys thought it was Albert who got upset for no reason. Even one of the biggest morons in baseball, John K in baseball tonight, said he was rooting for the Cards after that bs Carlos pulled. If someone like that can see it, how come you guys can't? Did it seem like Pujols got upset for no reason? Do you think he would get upset for someone fist pumping in celebration of getting out of an inning? He does that all the time. As a cub fan, I think everyone sympathizes with what you guys may have to put up with next year (we had to watch and listen to Baker), but in terms of our teams competing, Yost being there next year is really good news for us, because it's a little scary (to me) what a good manager could do with your team.

Well, I'll just shut up and go quietly and you won't hear any more predictions from me since I have been wrong each time. Whatever happens in this season, I can think of very few teams with as much YOUNG potential with the likes of Fielder, Hart, Braun and Hardy to name just 4 unbelievably talented players, and players that at least to me, seem like they want to be with their team for the long haul--which means that your organization will be pretty dam good for a very long time. I know I don't look forward to you being in our division for the next bunch of years.

I was wrong about this one--Duke was not the cub killer today. I am fairly confident that Gorzellany will battle Z tooth and nail tomorrow and salvage 1 out of 3. Z has not been comfortable at Wrigley for a while. Fantastic win for you guys last night.
