  1. You guys are awesome. I am really impressed with your team. I am a Cubs fan but I don't really dislike the Brewers that much except when we are competing together for a playoff spot. Obviously one of us isn't holding their end of the bargin there http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Anyways, represent the NL Central well in the playoffs. You guys are the last NL Central team to win a playoff game, and I'm certain you will be the next. Will be cheering for you in the playoffs, but it will be interesting to see if I change my mind later on in the playoffs as it becomes obvious that yet another team gets to the WS before the Cubs haha.
  2. That's really why I don't understand this move for the Cubs. If they're moving Hart, how big of an actual upgrade to their rotation is Gorzelanny?I think Gorzo has a higher upside than Hart, who people tend to say has maxed out his potention in his 4 start audition in the Cubs rotation. The thing that no one talks about is how Gorzelanny grew up on the South Side of Chicago and absolutely HATED the Cubs growing up, and hasn't been afraid to make that known during his time as a Pirate. It is going to be an interesting match to say the least.
  3. A little late, but I didn't see anyone suggest this. You can park at DeVry College (at Addison and Western...about 1.5 miles from the park) and take a shuttle to the game for just $6. It is available for all Night and Weekend games only, but is a great option if you don't want to travel on trains and what not for a long period of time. To get there, just get off on the Addison exit on 94/90 and drive about 14 blocks to Western Ave. I live in the neighborhood so I don't drive to games, but friends coming in from out of town (including Mikwaukee) take this route and love it. 4. Fair enough. I guess my eye is not as good as I thought it was. The thing that made that stand out to me was that I thought the Brewers got a strike call in the exact same location the next inning. Eitherway, the pitch was borderline at very best and only homers of the team that didn't benefit from the call would complain about it. The call to end the game will be seen by a casual fan watching Baseball Tonight and make them do a double take.
  5. You don't want to hear from Cubs fans right now, especially ones coming to point out calls in the Brewers favor, so I'll make it brief and say I mean you no harm. But ball 4 to Hart to score the Brewers run was rather iffy. It was more of a ball than the one that ended the game, and it was with a 3-1 count, but yeah. Good luck to you guys the rest of the series. Edit: Oh and I should say that last pitch was an obvious strike...the game should still be going on. The ump had been calling a very very inconsistent zone all game but that's no excuse as that was probably the worst call of the game.
  6. 2-6 is not the end of the world. You guys are too talented to not recover.
  7. I'm assuming you're meaning the Brewers, Cubs and Sox. Not all 3 are in the NL. And the Cubs and Sox are going to be done shortly. I'm hoping the Brewers can pull the miracle.I meant LCS. The Brewers probably have a better shot than the Cubs with 2 home games, but I think neither team has much of a shot.
  8. Go Crew! Let's keep baseball going on the shores of Lake Michigan for at least a couple more days. Brewers, Cubs win today and tomorrow and the White Sox win on Sunday. How awesome would it be if 3 of the 4 NLCS teams were within 90 miles of each other?
  9. I will agree though, that as an NSBB poster, the moderators are pretty bad nazis. But there's a time and a place for everything. You guys on this board have too good of posters to not know that.
  10. You really thought that when the Cubs were being blown away and crushing the spirit of the entire fanbase of the Cubs was the perfect time to mention that you think Z's better days are behind him?
  11. CONGRATS!!! I am supposed to hate you, being a Cubs fan and all, but I can't help but be happy for you guys. YOU GUYS DESERVE THIS!!! PACKERS SUCK!!!!!!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

  13. Zambrano is starting tomorrow (for approx 2 innings). Marshall will probably go from there.
  14. He'll put his regulars in there for 2 games and probably put in the scrubs in for one game against Milwaukee. Give him a break, he put his regulars in for 3 games of the series, and won 2 of them. In that time span, DeRosa and Cedeno came down with injuries.
