We both know that was a less than ideal team to have as a foundation for a fantasy keeper league. I wouldn’t want it and if you were being honest with yourself, you probably wouldn’t either. Just expressing what most were probably thinking. Grow up and stop being mock offended. Move on. Now, to get this thread back on track ... Really looking for Robbie Ray and Tommie Pham to repeat and maybe even improve on their crazy seasons last year. Especially Ray, even to the point of unseating Greinke as the team’s ace. I will draft him ahead of Greinke as a matter of fact. Masahiro Tanaka will bounce back and be better than Luis Severino. Otani will surprise as a pitcher but be only an average (at best) hitter. I am sad that my favorite low round sleeper, Drew Smyly, will spend most of this season recovering.

Congratulations on getting somebody to take that team and join your league. That being said, I will pretend that last ignorant comment of “some people do like to work for their success after all” was not aimed towards me. For the record, I am an avid fantasy baseball player and have won many different leagues under many different scoring systems, so I understand how fantasy baseball works

Puke! I would not want any more than like four of those players tops. That team will not compete today, tomorrow or even next year. Why not do a keeper league but re-draft every years to keep things from getting stale and to give everybody an equal chance to draft good players and win?

Has anybody ever went to this event previously or plan on attending this year's event? For those who have attended, what is this event like? Do you have access to all the players there to get autographs and pictures? I am thinking of going and would like to hear from somebody who has already attended, if possible. Thanks.

Hello all, This is probably a long shot, but does anybody have a Jonathan Lucroy signed bobblehead from Superhero night available? I was too late when I tried to purchase the tickets in the exclusive section and have been searching for one since. I had an amazing time at my first fantasy camp and accomplished some of my goals to boot. 1. I did not get injured and avoided the training room, which quite honestly, was packed during the end of camp. 2. I got at least one hit everyday except one. A few days I had multiple hits, so my hit average was well over one per day. 3. I chickened out and did not do any head first slides. I was looking for the right chance/opportunity to do so, but it never presented itself. I was not mentioned in any of the Journal Sentinel articles but did talk to Gary D'Amato everyday. In addition, I swung at the first pitch once (just because I could) and also cracked a bat. If anybody is considering doing this, by all means go for it. I was skeptical at first but the week flies by. Lots of great guys and great memories. I look forward to going back in the near future.

I see the T-Rats are using that bizarre bat pose from the Lucroy bobble with the Whiffer bobble too. Sorry, but I have never seen anybody (player or mascot) holding the bat straight out in that particular way. I do like the fact that it is a new pose, but a more realistic one would have been appreciated. Speaking of Whiffer, does anybody know what the story with him is ... why the T-Rats felt they needed another mascot and/or how they came to creating/ripping off the Phillie Phanatic? I have asked several T-Rats employees these same questions, and the answers have varied from "I don't know" to I guess we felt we needed another mascot." I do LOVE the fact that they are doing a Coulter bobble with catching gear on though!

In all seriousness, I can also vouch that this person is NOT a schill bidder ... yes, he does have two already and yes, he does have plenty of cash available. Why does he want three? I guess only he really knows the answer to that. I don't think there is anything "fishy" about this though. Some people view bobblehead collecting as a hobby and some view it as a business. There are other people who view it as a mixture of both. All that really matters (for eBay auctions at least) is who has the highest bid at the end. It does not matter his motive or how many he has already. Perhaps this bidder just values this particular bobble more than other people out there. Perhaps not. If so, more power to him to go and win/hoard as many iceman bobbles as he sees fit. Look at it this way - you know who out there has the extras. Did we really need another thread devoted to this topic though? Why couldn't we have just updated and re-used a previous thread where people are complaining about the iceman bobble and the seller?

I am sorry you look so dumb in front of everybody because you relied on bad information from your inside source and ran with it, but acting childish and name-calling is not the answer. It will make people take you less seriously in life. That is all I have to say about that.

These "rumors" have been true a lot more often than not... Really? Like when? Please be specific. It is one thing to suggest that it would be cool if they did a Nyjer Morgan bobble where he is making a "T" sign for the alternate version, (as many of us thought or suggested) but another thing completely to promise an alternate bobble, as you did in an earlier post in this thread ... The word "promise" implies some sort of certainty or high degree of knowledge, enough so to confidently make the claim. This was not the case here. Throwing out wild and unsubstantiated rumors serves no purpose other than stirring the pot and getting people worked up for something that does not even exist. Perhaps your inside source is not as credible or reliable as he/she leads you to believe.
