It was sunny when it was closed and the rain lasted about five minutes. And I'd rather watch baseball in a rain shower than sit in a sauna, which is what Miller Park is when the roof is closed. Yes. Very embarrassing to close the roof during rain showers.

Do you even know how a drug test works? There's absolutely no reason to believe that he was going to work high. On a different topic: Why do people separate legal drugs like pain killers and alcohol from weed, cocaine, and other illegal drugs? They are all drugs. Marijuana is no more of a gateway drug than alcohol except for the fact that it shows someone is willing to do something illegal to get high. If weed was legal I don't think it would have a stronger correlation to cocaine/heroine/crack use than alcohol. I agree it's foolish to smoke weed when you've tested positive in the past and are going to face tests in the future, but linking it to PEDs is a huge failure on the part of MLB.

There were throwing a few things. Never got a glimpse of what they were throwing. I totally spaced on my way out in the morning and forgot my camera and Brewer cap so I resorted to yelling their names to get their attention.

Usually just lurk here, but figured I'd post this on the Brewer board: The MLB All Star Parade shut down 6th ave today in front of my office. They rolled through all the living members of the Hall of fame and then all the All Stars. It was great beacuse the crowd cleared out by the time the NL came up so I was able to see the Brew Crew close up. I will say that Ryan Braun won the award for hottest lady friend in the vehicle with him. I don't know where he met her, but I don't think they have hot Asians like that in Milwaukee. Maybe Seattle, but not Milwaukee. haha. Me: Ryan Ryan Ryan! Ryan: (looks at me) Me: When are your boys JJ and Corey going to follow your lead and re-sign with the Brewers? Ryan: (laughs) I'm workin' on them!
