  1. Apparently none of you actually read the article.
  2. Anderson will be calling a few NFL games for CBS this season. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/262589981.html With him calling MLB playoffs, NBA playoffs, and NFL games it can't be long before he's out of Milwaukee; the demand for him is too high. If his NFL games go well I'd expect CBS to try to lock him up exclusively. They could have him do NFL, college basketball, and PGA.
  3. He also doesn't like Elvis Andrus screwing with his pop flies. http://i.imgur.com/4NYpFTi.gif http://i.imgur.com/Q7pqtob.gif http://cdn0.sbnation.com/imported_assets/1714175/WIq2wTh.gif
  4. I've been using a $400 Toshiba for my junior and senior year, and it has been able to do everything I've wanted to do with plenty of speed. Laptops now a days are so advanced that even the low end models will be more than the average user ever needs. Unless you're looking for a gaming computer or something for graphic design or whatever, I wouldn't spend more than $600, and would recommend something even cheaper. Those saying to buy something that lasts, no. The computer my Toshiba replaced? An $800 Sony Vaio I purchased 4 years prior to the Toshiba. The $400 Toshiba blows the Sony out of the water, twice the computer the Vaio was. My Vaio was still working great, but I couldn't pass up such a big upgrade for only $400. Getting a $400 computer every 4 years is a better move than getting an $800 computer every 8 years. That $800 computer will be nearly obsolete in the last two years anyway. *Oh, and in case you didn't know already, never buy the extended warranty.
  5. My god, these poll options are depressing
  6. Yeah, I can't say I've watch many (or any?) Royals games, but I know a Royals fan who is constantly complaining about Yost holding him back. His complaints sound almost the same as the complaints about him when he was in Milwaukee
  7. Yeah I don't think that'd work out for me, so I'm gonna have to pass
  8. I've been thinking about it since you posted this thread. My main league is a competitive money league among friends. The past two years it has also been the only league I've been in. I won both years. So I kind of don't want to break that streak. But I also kind of want to have a second league. The big issue for me is, when do you think the draft would be held? I want no part of a league in which I can't draft my own team.
  9. I think it's a great promotion. If I make it to a game it's a free $10 for me to spend; I don't care what it actually cost the team.
  10. I would imagine so. 2nd round picks in the NBA are like points in Who's Line is it Anyway
  11. I usually go to 2 or 3 games a year and record has no influence. I would not be more likely to go more often if they had the best record in baseball and it's not more likely I'd go less often with what they have now.
  12. They also had no idea Segura and Gomez would be anywhere near as good as they have been. They more than cancel out Weeks and Lucroy. Maldonado and Gonzalez are backups, and it's really not that big of a surprise that neither are hitting
  13. Watching Carlos Gomez, and especially Jean Segura, play so well is what has kept me excited. I'd be nice to be taking advantage of their production and win games, but they're still fun to watch when we're not. 4-5 with a HR today, this guy might be my favorite player on the team.
