  1. Nashville's schedule can be found here or beginning here. The first is easier to read and based on the second. It was published by MiLB.com, but has yet to be posted on the team's site.
  2. Fellow local Sounds fans rejoice! It looks like the Sounds are on the verge of being sold to a New York-based ownership group that plans on buidling a new stadium with its own funds. YES!!! Read all about it in The City Paper: here.
  3. I know that late in the season they went ahead and sold Mel Stocker's jersesy (it seems like they hade one or two more for sale too). I imagine that means they will sell the rest of them soon. The home and road jerseys they wore this year were the same that they wore last year. I don't mean they were the same style/design... they were the same jerseys with different names on the back. If you sat close enough, you could tell that they exhibited some fading and fraying.
  4. I send ONE box. I use boxes like these (http://www.officemax.com/omax/catalog/sku.jsp?skuId=21135380&searchString=&productId=ARS22935&category_Id=664), only not that size (pick the smallest size that will hold a ball). Put some double-sided foam tape on the outside of the box such that the player can remove the backing and seal the box back. When YOU close it, just use some packing tape to secure the front flap (so the flap goes over the foam tape). So, instead of tucking-in the flap, leave it on the outside. Include a postage-paid self-addressed label that the player can peel off and cover up the label already on the box. I hope this makes sense. Let me know if I need to clarify anything.
  5. I sent some balls last season, but have switched to cards only. My ball successes last year included Braun (while he was still signing, but he didn't put it on the sweet-spot), Parra, Nix, and Zach Jackson. The main reason for switching was the cost of balls and postage/supplies.
  6. My shyness has severly inhibited my in-person autograph collecting too. The only in-person signature that I have ever received (not that opportunites for others didn't exist; infact, they have been numerous) was Nashville's Callix Crabbe. He was really cool about signing and seemed happy to do it. I feel much more comfortable using the postal service, which I do extensivly. Most of my attempts have been successful. I've only had five to six fall off the face of the earth in about 55 attempts. Last year I was able to get Parra, Gallardo, and Braun (all shortly after being called up from Nashville). This year I got Branyan and DiFelice (again, just after being called up). Both of the ones from this year got back to me in about two weeks.
