  1. Thanks for the help. Debating whether or not to try for Wade Saturday. I'm guessing with it being the Heat there will be a decent crowd.
  2. They leave around 10 for shoot around?
  3. That's the (alternate?) logo for the Braves from 72-86. It's way better than Chief Wahoo. The "screaming savage" is better than Chief Wahoo??
  4. I don't know where for sure they stay either, but I also assume the Pfister. Everything I have seen says Wade and Lebron are hit or miss....mainly miss.
  5. I know it's a little off subject, but does anyone on here go for any visiting teams in town at the hotel?
  6. Oh nice, I recently got Boggs on ROMLB with inscription, but did send $10
  7. Thanks cheesehead. I agree the Pfister is nicer, I just thought I read somewhere that the Phillies stay at the Hyatt. I've got time for more research before they get to town though.
  8. Does anyone know for sure where the Phillies or Braves stay, the Hyatt or the Pfister?
  9. Appreciate the help guys. Last question, for those who have gone to the Pfister, what is the autograph crowd like?
  10. Appreciate it Bani, any idea what time the teams typically start to leave for the stadium?
  11. Hi All, I have recently moved to Milwaukee and want to start getting autographs of the visiting team after games. I am fairly confident I know which hotel the teams stay at, but if anyone is willing to post or pm with any tips I would greatly appreciate it.
  12. Yeah thats true. Yeah, I saw Yount signing, I guess I should of specified "nobody" as in no current player Ive never been a big autograph guy, but I can understand why its getting harder to obtain autos. A few players I know from various teams have basically said its the people who collect tons of autos and sell them and rude fans that ruin it for them. I witnessed this first hand last week at Maryvale. There was presumably a class of 3rd-4th graders at the game (they all had school uniforms on) standing by the tunnel before the game. None of these kids knew who the players were, nor did they even seem to be fans of either team (Brewers or Dbacks), but it just amazed me how rude they were, *demanding* autographs from players. I even heard a couple kids yell at Yount to get his "you know what" back here and sign for us". Long story short the teacher finally comes down to supervise her students (crazy concept) and was upset that the players werent signing for the kids. It took everything in my power to not tell her that her students were being brats, but I refrained. On a positive note though, there was a young couple from WI there who had a handmade sign for their friend who has cancer. They got signatures from players on both teams and Robin took several minutes to talk to them and sign for them and invited them to come back early the next day and he said he would sign things for their friend. Pretty cool gesture I thought. Just to follow up on that, they did show up early the next day and Robin brought them down into the dugout to sign stuff and take pictures. At the time I had no idea what was going on, so your post filled in the first part for me.
  13. Spent a week in Arizona this year and had a rough go of it with the Brewers. Players must be tired of autographs by the time I got there. Game 1 at Maryvale Robin Yount on a full size helmet Gamel signed, but didn't need him Everyone else ignored Game 2 at Maryvale Robin Yount on a ROMLB Gamel signed, didn't need Don Mattingly ROMLB Everyone else ignored Game 3 at Goodyear Logan Schaeffer Martin Maldonado Braun signed for one kid and that was it Game 4 at Maryvale Robin Yount on a mini helmet Gorman Thomas on a ROMLB Jonathon Lucry on a ROMLB Yovanni Gallardo on a ROMLB Was only able to get Yo since I had seats right next to the bullpen and when he came out to watch the game I was standing alone and he came over. Aroldis Chapman on ROMLB Overall I was pretty disappointed with the players ignoring fans. Most didn't even wave or acknowledge everyone. I also went to Diamondbacks practice two mornings since I heard the access was great Alan Trammell 2 ROMLB Kirk Gibson ROMLB Matt Williams ROMLB Lyle Overbay Paul Goldschmidt Daniel Hudson Tyler Skaggs Don Baylor Saw Justin Upton one morning and I was the only one there but he didn't stop.
  14. Every year I swear Mariano signs everything but mine during ST. UGH. That looks sick.
