What a great game! I was watching on FSN, and during the postgame Bill made one of the funniest comments I have ever heard come out of his pie hole. They were going over the Miller run when he got around the tag. Bill was doing play by play with Miller rounding third and he starts calling Miller.....Seabiscuit!....I almost fell out of the chair....then Sutton again chimes in....if Miller were a pitch he'd be a changeup!.....great stuff!

rluzinski.......you said it about as good as could be said! The rest of this month pretty much will tell all! For some reason I am feeling real nervous about the start of the second half....I wouldn't say nervous as in a bad feeling, just nervous because the first couple series out of the box in the second half may prove to be really really big either stepping stones or swimming in a deep lake with the same stones hanging around our necks!

I've just been amazed at how the staff as a whole has seemed to crank it up a notch now that the offense is slumping. Even though the Dodgers Ofense isn't clicking. They keep getting themselves into jams, but manage to either get lucky or flat out pitch out of it. I mean one run over a combined 12 innings thats flat out awesome no matter who your facing. Cudos to the staff as of late, and for that matter most of the year! Hopefully Cappy is going to be fine and not have to go on the DL again, because he looked pretty good for the most part last night. He kept the Dodgers off pace all night with the changeup, and then they couldn't seem to catch up to his upper 80's fastball.
