Is anyone else concerned that the Brewers have just less than half of their draft picks signed? I understand that they won’t sign all of them, but 25 of 51? I’m holding out hope that their signing a bunch of these guys over slot and have to wait ‘til the end of the signing period for the league to approve the deals. With the Brewers poor farm system at the moment, why would they not go out and spend a ton of money on this draft, especially the high upside HS players?

Will the Brewers bring anybody up to DH when our interleague schedule starts? We currently don't have anybody on our bench that make sense in that role to me. Gamel seems like he would be the first choice, but I'm not sure if he has any options left. Otherwise, what about any of these guys: Brendan Katin, Taylor Green, Caleb Gindl, Brandon Boggs, Sean Halton, or Erik Komatsu Give me something beyond Kotsay, Counsell, Gomez, or Wilson...please!

I’ll be in Boston Thursday-Sunday with some buddies. We’re going to the Friday and Saturday games and staying at the Sheraton. Any recommendations for drinking establishments in the area?

While I don't have any new information on Gibson, isn't it in his best interests to make it seem like he's a lock to go to college at this point? He's knows the Brewers want to sign him. Going through all the motions as far as getting ready for Florida would only give him more leverage. And if he doesn't sign, he'll be right on track with his training. I don't think he'll make a decision until close to the deadline - much like Gennett, Howell, and Hall did last year.

Is there any recent news on Brooks Hall? I haven't heard a word about him since he came down with a non-baseball injury/illness. Is he throwing at all right now? Thanks.

Colby, how likely is it that the Brewers get Gennett signed today?

Are there some players that the Brewers have been following the last few months before they make an offer/don't make one at all? If so, which ones?

Is anyone headed to San Diego this weekend? Or anyone who's been there have any tips on where to go and what to do?

Does anyone know where I can find a printable 2009 schedule for the Manatees?
