  1. maybe this link will help you http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20110330&content_id=17203524&vkey=news_milb&fext=.jsp i also found a lot of good information by going to the teams websites, every single one of them has an article about their opening day roster.
  2. I would definately. From what im hearing, it doesnt even sound like NY wants him because of the anxiety issues and that he might be best suited for a small-mid market team. With that said, I think they give him some time to make sure he likes it here and they will try to work it out.
  3. The guys on MLB network seem to think grienke will win 20-25 games. If that happens I think we easily win 90.
  4. weeks braun fielder hart mcgehee lucroy betancourt Pitcher gomez I like this lineup because it would give braun and fielder xtra at bats throughout the year. Plus a few of our pitchers might actually be better batters than gomez, maybe even betancourt. When the pitcher makes the last out, then braun and fielder will be 3-4 the next inning. Gomez just needs to stop swinging for the fences and just get on base. the dumbest thing sveum has done in his career is tell gomez its ok for him to give it a good hack up there. Im also in favor of getting gamel in the lineup in right and moving hart to center.
  5. Sorry, I wasnt keeping track. So have we signed all our picks in the first 10 rounds?
  6. you can add bucci to the list. Nice job
  7. Was it just me, or did Fredrickson get some bad breaks. I know he wasnt at his best, but in the second inning with one out and a runner on first, he had a double play ball that bounced off of second base that allowed the runner to move to third. Also a bloop hit that lawrie couldnt get to. And in the first, a close play at the plate that kemp couldnt hang on to. Again, not his best but luck certainly wasnt on his side. Peralta got out of a couple jams and impressed me in stressful situations. I was joking with my buddy while at the game that this timberrattler team reminds me of the brewers in that they can get guys on base but cant get the key hit when they are on, especially with runners in scoring position.
  8. Yeah, it seems that way to me also. I just turned on time warner 32 and saw an interview with merklinger (before the promotion) and seems like a real level headed kid, gave a great interview.
  9. Man o Man, T-rats are struggling. Im going tommorow night and I believe peralta and fredrickson are pitching, hopefully a good game.
  10. how many innings did arnett pitch for Indiana this year, is it possible he has arm fatigue.
  11. Wow what a night of pitching performances. Bucci, Periard, and Rivas with shutouts. And not to mention Parra going 7 shutout. Ill tell you what, first time posting but ive been here daily looking in at the comments and box scores and im pretty excited about our pitching prospects from A+ ball down.
