They said six on the TV broadcast. Encouraging to see axford back in a groove. I think I would personally let him keep pitching in the 7th/8th innings for another week at least before thinking about sliding him back into the closer role.

So a quick search on Eddie Kimminau and it turns out that he has "Morquio Syndrome – an extremely rare progressive disorder arresting growth and causing severe bone disease." Pretty cool gesture on the Brewers part to have him in the booth and on the air.

He did not pitch last night. If I wasn't so lazy I could've checked the box score from last night and seen that Loe closed it out. If this keeps up Axford will get another night off tonight.

Hopefully Hairston can come in and make an impression on Roenicke. I hate having higher expectations when the pitcher is at the plate (Gallardo anyways) than the starting shortstop.

Hopefully that's the spark casey needs to get it going. I don't think I would've pinch hit for gallardo there. Especially not with yuni.
