  1. Wish I would have checked the forum several weeks ago. I need to find one of those for my collection.
  2. That's a clown question, bro.
  3. I'm glad that I got both of them the first time around. I picked up all my Lawrie bobbles the day after, when the team did the 'spring cleaning' joke of a giveaway.
  4. The Brett Lawrie has two different sponsor plaques as well. It seems that if the box has two sponsors listed on it, there will be a split with what is on the sponsor plaques. For me, this means the team has done 8 bobbles already this season with the two Scooters and the two Lawries...lovely.
  5. All of these were mentioned on the Snappers' Twitter feed, with dates. The Prince is slated for June 14th. Mr. Spelius apparently had something to do with the creation of the Beloit Brewers back in '82, but I don't know if that means something as simple as ponying up $$$ or if it was something more.
  6. Ha, no worries, man. It's all good--everyone who wants to know me knows where to find me anyway!
  7. Ah, my master list! Glad to see its in good hands here! New add to the Yearly Bobble list-- 2/2014 Bernie Brewer Springy Logo Base (numbered to 2014)
  8. The happy youngster...apparently there's poetic justice for Chris Coughlin after all.
  9. Its been about a year for me, my last alternate was the Tony Plush from last season. The girl sitting next to me got a retro, but couldn't grasp the concept that going through different lines makes no difference when there are 5k alternates randomly placed in the cases of bobbles.
  10. I'm guessing we won't find out until Monday at the soonest--hopefully a board member will be at the game and able to inform us if anything shows up in the playbill.
  11. There is also a Bernie Brewer FC Pennant Base bobble that came out a couple weeks after the other three.
  12. That wouldn't surprise me in the least. At least I was able to get the thumbs-up Bernie in the birthday package despite being told that they were all out of them and would be for an extended period of time, so that made me happy.
  13. Really? I had a group of eighteen (yes, eighteen) cubs fans sitting directly in front of me--14 of them got blue Scotts, and the other 4 got whites...not a single one of them would cough up their bobble.
  14. I have extras of the '60, '83, '95, and '11 Timber Rattler bobbles available. Would you be willing to do a one-for-one swap for a Blue Scott?
  15. As a whole, I feel that it was a well-done bobble. I thought that it was a really cool idea to include a replica trophy, but I was disappointed in the quality of them. In the half-dozen or so Erickson bobbles I picked up, a couple of the trophies were broken at the legs/ankles, and all of them were at least a little loose. I understand that it was probably tough to produce a piece like that, but having something mere millimeters in thickness is asking for trouble. I think if I could redesign it, I'd have the Pepsi plaque on the back of the bobble and a larger replica trophy on the front of the bobble, perhaps on a slightly larger base to increase the overall size of the trophy. Oh well, c'est la vie.
  16. With all of the alternates that may potentially hit the market, perhaps hitting #400 in the collection isn't out of the question for me after all...
  17. Did the Milwaukee Bears play in a time period where there were alternate Unis? Not to be 'that guy' and get technical, but the fewer bobbles to collect the better!
  18. Either budget cuts prevented one of the blabbermouths writing blogs to post... Or more likely, they wanted to surprise (and by surprise, I mean piss off) diehard collectors like us. Any thoughts on the Braun Bobble? I can see it falling into the White/Pinstripe category as well.
  19. Do we know if the Aoki bobble falls into the 40k/5k or the 50/50 format?
  20. Why? Because people can't do simple math. Another reason to stay in school, kids.
  21. its true, right on the Brewers twitter page....
  22. I hope that it was just a typo from a reused template that was printed in that program...
  23. I have to agree--I've been collecting for four years now (which still makes me a toddler in this world), but 350 bobbles later, I've enjoyed every minute of chasing down every bobble in my collection. I'd argue that besides finding a snipe on the bay or CL, or learning about new bobbles that I previously didn't know existed, the chase and the anticipation of that next piece is the best part of the hobby.
