  1. Looks like Swihart wants out of Boston as his agent has requested a trade. Depending on price, seems likes a move the Brewers should look into. A young(26), switch hitting catter with upside. I know he hasn't performed to his draft position, but he is under control for a while and could pair up nicely with Pina. I wonder what we would have to give up to get him? Thoughts?
  2. Completely agree! He's only going to make things worse for hid kids. People already are hating the way he carries himself and his arrogance. No way that can be a positive for his kids. I am a high school head basketball coach and there is no way I would want to deal with that man as a parent. I feel for Steve Alford and his kids high school coach.
  3. Genius or insane? How many of you would spend $495 for a pair of shoes that are being endorsed by a kid that hasn't logged an NBA minute? What's the most expensive pair of shoes you have purchased? Personally I have spent around $100 multiple times for athletic shoes for my kids and self. I couldn't imagine ever spending close to $500 for a pair of shoes. I guess I would rather spend that money on sending my kids to camps to make them better athletes! Thoughts?
  4. According to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports someone has claimed him off of waivers. I don't think he is going anywhere, he has the ability to block trades to 21 teams.
  5. It's called the small market cycle. Go for it for a couple of years then trade guys with value. I would trade A-Ram now while he is hot and get some close to ready prospects, dump some more salary so we can get some players with manageable contracts and then fill in the rest of the roster with quality free agents. I still believe that we have a legit shot at resigning Zack if we can shed some more salaries before seasons end, and that starts with A-Ram.
  6. Take advantage of A-Ram's good hitting and trade him. It would be nice to get more young pitching and a 3b prospect while getting rid of his big contract. Then you can make a run at some free agents this summer(Zack).
