  1. Opens the season in Brent Suter's role then in rotation if an injury occurs?
  2. As I read fangraphs I have no idea how Frelick is rated that low. So what if CF is not his position? How do you want to rate someone that much lower because of the perceived lack of power? He is only getting better. He now has more ABs in the minors than in college. He is learning and doing so extremely quickly. His floor is a Darryl Hamilton type, His ceiling approaches Molitor with his bat skills. Chourio might have massive skills, but I see Frelick as a sure thing and cannot wait for him to be with the Major League club.
  3. I am most impressed by his attitude when he was injured. Still played aggressively. His defense was still great and he still swiped bags, While flustered at the plate he still handled everything else.
  4. I say move Urias to 2B, Adames to 3B, sign Dansby Swanson for our SS! Turang can be traded for all I care. I know that is not within the realm of possibility, but that is what I would like to see.
  5. These stats are wrong! How soon we forget about Blake Perkins.
  6. I am only interested with Justin Turner at 3B. I blieve Urias is better than anyone else. Does Edwin Rios have an option left? If so, I wouldn't mind signing him and sticking him in the minors this year. He has always intrigued me.
  7. What about Trey Mancini to get Righthanded at bats at 1B and some veteran presence in Right field so we aren't so reliant on the rookies? I would take Turner for third and no one else would even be considered an upgrade, imo. My main wish is for Andrew Chaffin for bullpen help. Others I am interested in for one reason or another are: Archie Bradley, Michael Fulmer, Ken Giles, Reyes Moronta, Adam Ottavino, and Taylor Rogers. Does Edwin Rios have an option left? If so I would like to take a cheap shot with him for 3B depth in minors. Would Danny Duffy take a minor league deal for Starting Depth? Other than those thoughts, I am happy to roll with what we have
  8. Hit enter before finishing my projection. ?

  10. Will that include a 12 game slide at the end of the month as well?

  12. Hopefully he figured out it was trying to be more patient and letting the count get to two strikes. He was very pedestrian at best last year against two strike breaking balls. Go back to jumping on pitches and he is golden.
  13. https://www.cougarboard.com/board/message.html?id=25655482 "Some rumblings going around about Josh Hader to the Padres. Dennis Lin yesterday said on the Darren Smith show that Padres GM AJ Preller really covets Hader but the price was said to be too steep. This morning, on the Ben and Woods show (San Diego sports radio), one of the hosts said that a source in the know said there is a potential three-team deal being discussed to "improve the Padres bullpen" and the teams in discussion are the Padres, Brewers and Tigers. As Lin (reporter from the Athletic, fwiw) said, I think the Brewers would ask for the moon for Hader, and Woods said he didn't know how far along the deal was or whether it would even happen, so I don't know that it's going to happen, but if it did, the Padres would clearly be the second best team in the league behind the Dodgers (they probably already are, but the gap between those two and the rest of the league would just get bigger)."
  14. I think you nailed it. He stays in shape all year..-if Brewers are in contention at the trade deadline, need a super sub, and cannot bring one in....enter Braun.
