  1. Only insomuch as it’s from the same show that taught us that 64 slices of American cheese can make one blind.
  2. Didn’t the Brewers drop Jeffrey Hammonds before his bobblehead game one year? Ah, the glory days.
  3. It seems to me that the Brewers thought Isaac Collins’ 2025 season was an aberration. Unfortunately, it seems that 29 other teams thought so as well.
  4. I’d guess that Hall and Myers make the NLCS roster. Gasser is almost certainly out. For the other spot, it would be either Anderson, Lockridge, or Collins out. I guess a lot depends on how the team feels about Chourio’s availability in CF. If he is back to being available in CF, you can replace Lockridge.
  5. Jameson Taillon has been really good since coming back from injury. I’d argue he’s been their best starter the last month and a half or so. The Brewers will have to be on their A game tomorrow if they want to win.
  6. I think we can replace him. We just couldn’t move him into the field without losing the DH
  7. Hopefully I don’t get banned for bringing up memories of this guy in a Brewer uniform.
  8. Gotta put him up here, as he is in my user name on this site.
  9. The fact Tobias Myers came in during a tied game today instead of Nick Mears makes me think I know who this pitcher is.
  10. Yes and no. If Tobias is on the roster and starting today, we wouldn’t have had a mop up guy in the bullpen yesterday, and we probably waste two more relievers. Rodriguez wasn’t good yesterday, but he did keep Koenig, Mears, Uribe, Ashby, and Miller from having to enter the game. Myers might be a better pitcher than Patrick right now, but Patrick hasn’t exactly been Ben Hendrickson out there this year. Plus we needed to have a mop up guy available for the Mis game against the Cubs. Hindsight is 20/20, but a 7-1 loss counts the same as a 3-1 loss, so maybe have CRod here yesterday was a blessing in disguise.
  11. Crummy game for sure, but in a run of this many games in a row, I’d prefer this kind of loss over a 2-1 loss where we waste the bullpen. I dont feel all that confident about facing Robbie Ray tomorrow, but we should have a relatively available bullpen.
