Ahhh, its always nice to see the Brewers beat up on the Cubbies.

Until he can prove that he's healthy and will be able to play at a level similar to where he was, I dont see the Brewers offering him much.

Tell that to the fans. Agree. Theres plenty of great teams and fans in places that dont have natural outdoor ice.

Hockey does not belong south of the Mason Dixon line. I live in Chicago and cheer for the Blackhawks. I used to feel the same way you did, but without a natural hockey rival I really don't see the big deal. People in Chicago don't hate people from Wisconsin - they hate Packer fans, but they don't hate Wisconsinites. Thanks but as someone living n Chicago Im not sure that you fully understand the dynamic of Chicagoans who own vacation homes in Wisconsin, spend a few weekends there out of the year and act like they own the place.

Hey all, big hockey fan here but Im kind of struggling with my NHL fandom. I recently got back into hockey a few years ago and latched onto the Blackhawks (before they won the cup) because they are the closest team to where I lived at the time (grew up about 30 miles south of Madison). Ive kind of always struggled with cheering against Chicago teams during most of the year and then cheering for a Chicago team during hockey season. Lately, Ive thought maybe Id start cheering for the Nashville Predators because of their ties to Wisconsin with the Milwaukee Admirals. My fiance thinks Im crazy and that theres nothing wrong with cheering for a Chicago team considering that Wisconsin doesnt have an NHL team (shes not from Wisconsin and doesnt exactly understand the issues that we have with Chicagoans). So, what do you guys think: am I totally stupid for thinking about switching to the Predators because they have an AHL affiliate in Milwaukee and because, "dollar Bill" Wirtz cost Milwaukee a chance at having an NHL team (told the league that people in Milwaukee were Blackhawk fans, so a team would never work there) or am I just making waaaay too much out of cheering for a Chicago team.

Not a bad outing for the crew considering Figaro gave up a grand slam in the 1st. Taking 2 out of 3 from the Braves is good considering the season the Brewers have had thus far and how many of their best players are out with injury. Hopefully Gomez isnt out of the lineup for very long.

I'd be all for trading Axford if its a good trade. Maybe throw Weeks in with it too!

Im kind of with some of the others in regards to Weeks. He used to be my favorite Brewer but it seems like his fielding errors are costing the team. Well, on to Houston. Hopefully the Brewers can get a sweep and Braun is back in time for the Chicago series.

A while back ESPN was talking that MLB was considering a kind of skullcap that would fit under the pitcher's ball cap and werent really looking at any kind of a mask.

Big golfer here. Not a member at any course, I mostly just play the munis in Columbus. About your mechanics question, one way to get straight back is to focus on the feel of keeping the clubhead outside of your hands going back and not hinging your wrists until the club is parallel to the ground.

Id agree it will probably be a long, long time. Pitchers seem pretty opposed to any kind of helmets. Id like to see them adopt something like a hockey helmet with a full cage like they wear in college hockey. I dont see that happening any time soon, if ever though.

Tough loss. Even still, the Reds are a good team and its nice to see the Brewers give them all that they can handle. Ive got tickets for tomorrows game, so hopefully Yo has a good outing and the crew can get the win.
