  1. I have always felt that so many interdivisional games do not ready a team for the playoffs. An equal spread of games across all divisions, or just eliminate the divisions seems most equitable in the future.
  2. I dunno, seems like a number of lower seeded teams knocking off top seeds like the Twins and Cubs is going to look intriguing for future playoff considerations. Better than one game playoffs for sure. It was amazing to see the Astros sporting a 9-23 road record sweeping the Twins.
  3. Instant win off Chapman of all closers. I really figured he was working a walk with such a hot hitter.
  4. The Cards aren't just losing, they're losing big now. Frankly, they got lucky to escape the Atlanra series and get to the game 5 dud. It's going to take a lot of starter breakdowns for the Nats to lose 4 straight.
  5. Such a typical Brewers game for this season. You want the season down to Hader, 2 run lead. and 6 outs to go. You probably would gladly take it since game 1 of 163
  6. Cleveland has been almost as hot as the Brewers this month. Washington will have a tough task.
  7. Just give up the granny, so the parking lot can get cleared.
  8. This looks to be the end of the Brewers post-season chances for this year. Looks like a solid 3rd or 4th place finish hovering near .500.
  9. What's a comparable market? Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Cincinatti, Tampa Bay, Minnesota? Any of those teams have sustained success lately?
  10. Alberts is hot and cold, and cold much of the time. He's overpaid as well. Someone might take him for a middle level prospect if you paid off his salary.
  11. It's just a sweat faded jersey after chasing all those ambulances.
  12. I'd take Bailey for sure compared to what we have. Major bargain.
  13. Funny thing is, Deolis Guerra got DFA'd for far less. At least he made outs.
  14. It's kind of a tough call. 3 singles, one soft, one infield, but making outs as well. The first two guys were down 0-2. His location was fine. IMO, Burch is probably equivalent. Whether it is worth exposing Guerra to the waiver wire after one unlucky start is debatable.
  15. Honestly, if he pitches the last out with empty bases and the Brewers win 6-5, he might still be on the team, barely.
  16. I struggled to find actual Red fans in the seats. 7799 seems generous.
  17. You can't blame the Reds. 3 games, 8 runs in 2 1/3 innings. He's back to the Rangers in AAA for now. He got his paydays, and now can gradually head toward retirement.
  18. The only reason that we need bullpen help is that our starters are not going nearly long enough. Routine 5 inning starts or less isn't going to cut it.
