I'm confused about some peoples outrage. He apologized for what he was caught for. What did you really expect. Did you want him to come clean about everything he lied about? Should he have admitted that he was taking PED's in college or possibly even HS? Should he have admitted that he was taking PED's his entire career? Would that have made him a better person in your eyes? So if he would have admitted he has been a lying, cheating scumbag his whole life then the apology would have been OK? He is in a no win situation. He cheated, he got caught. His reputation is shot. No apology was going to change those facts.Some people act like they have never made a dumb decision in their life and then lied about it. He took a step in the right direction. He admitted his mistake. He apologized. Time to move on people.

Chatter on twitter is that Braun is releasing a written statement. IMO this would be a very very bad move. He needs to come clean. Face the press and answer questions. He needs to start showing he's sorry for what he's done. A written statement is the cowards way out! I certainly hope this rumor is incorrect!

I have a friend who's son was a minor prospect coming out of college. He was not drafted but went to quite a few MLB tryout camps. He talked to a lot of MLB scouts and word was that it was well known that Braun was a juicer. Possibly going all the way back to HS. I never really believed these reports when he originally told me about this. Now....................

Gallardo hurt now. Man this team is snake bit. Axford comes in and gives up 2 straight hits and lead is gone. Man he stinks.

Scouts come to see Gallardo pitch - he's terrible! Scouts also there to see Michael Gonzalez and he is just as bad. I hate to even ask but what more could go wrong for this team?

Well is this hitting rock bottom now? Losing 3 of 4 to the last place Padres at home. This is really hard to stomach.

I don't think we have to worry about the Brewers trading Gallardo anymore. Very doubtful anyone would want him. He just looks like a completely lost pitcher.

Hard to even predict anything for next year right now. Way to many question marks. Will Braun be suspended into next year or possibly for life? Will any or all of Gallardo, Lohse, Weeks, Aioki, KRod, Axford, Gonzalez, Henderson be traded? Will Hart be back? Can ARam rebound? Can Gomez & Segura duplicate the seasons they are having? The easy answer is IF all are back and healthy then they could possibly contend for a wildcard spot. But more than likely this team will have a very new look next year and will not contend.
