As exciting as this 10-game winning streak has been, perhaps a little perspective here is still needed BECAUSE the MLB is still inherently UNfair with the very huge payroll discrepancies across the league due to the very huge local broadcast revenue discrepancies across the league. 10 games is 1/16th of a MLB season ... essentially the same as 1 game is 1/16th of an NFL season! The Brewers have just won the equivalent of 1 game in the NFL in this current 10-game winning streak! Ponder that for awhile! Work still needs to be done by both the MLB and the Brewers -- but especially by the MLB! The Brewers are putting in the good work already!

I think we are very fine off with Joey Ortiz. He can field with the best of them, and his hitting potential is far better than his overall results this season thus far. He has been getting very decent results this past month or so, too. Let's keep this team together! Don't bust up a good thing!
