I would only deal Pena for a top end starting pitcher like Webb who I think could really move the needle for multiple years. No chance I would deal him for miler, skubal, etc.

I am all for big game hunting We get Webb from SF Give: Frelick Fisher Pena SF choice (Sproat, Hardin, Gasser, or 2 lower level arms) Webb would be a guy I would deal Pena for. Helps SF re tool short term with affordable talent for their terrible offense in Sal and Fisher. Young controllable arm, and then they get Pena as the centerpiece.

I highly doubt our otherwise very highly revered FO, who has been widely praised for how they handle the draft and draftee's is the one dropping the ball I guarantee they did their due diligence or heads would be rolling. Guessing he just changed his mind.

Thirsty Thursday may have delayed this post.. From the Biloxi game last night Scout watch - There was another Angels scout there. Different scout, same seat as Tuesday. I did not see the Tigers, Mets, or Orioles scouts from Tuesday there. I also had a few more Observations 1) I don't know if it's a development thing or the just the players but the Biloxi players all swing out of their shoes on damn near every swing. Even with 2 strikes. It was a bit annoying. Especially when they seem to have the ability to shorten up with 2 strikes. 2) Made was a vacuum at SS. Not a lot of tough chances but the ball seems to get into his glove and out extremely quickly 3) I am apparently the Biloxi pitching staffs Talisman. I have seen them pitch 18 innings this week and give up 3 hits and about 5 hard hit balls total 4) Adamczewski played a decent LF, ran down one ball and took a weird route on another. 5) Mark Coley got absolutely screwed by the umps on his 2K's. Called strike 3 on the first one that was at mid shin. Check swing (he barely took it off his shoulder), strike 3 on this 2nd K. One of the worst checked swing calls I have ever seen. It was not even close. He moved the bat about 12 inches off his shoulder.. Going to try to go again on Sunday if I make it back in town on time.

Will be at the Shuckers game again tonight. Sitting in the same seats, will see if I spot any of the same scouts as Tuesday.

@wibadgers23 Talked to the Tigers scout for a lot of the game, he was sitting right in front of me. Angels scout was decked out in Angels gear and taking video on ipad half the night. He was 1 section over. The Tigers scout pointed out the other 2 as his "competition" and told me who they were with.

Late night last night. Thoughts and observations from Chattanooga last night 1) Adamczewski is a stud. His swing is so pretty 2) Made didn't have his best game was the DH so didn't get to see him in the field. 3) Dylan O'Rae may not be an MLB player, he has a lot stacked against him, but he is a joy to watch. I was sitting with a lot of Lookouts fans who kept asking about him. 4) Rodriguez was impressive. Mixed pitches well. 5) Ragsdale is a very solid CF, ran down 2 of the 3 hard hit balls by the lookouts and made a nice over the shoulder catch 6) I saw scouts from the Tigers, Mets, Angels, and Orioles there. The Tigers scout was only taking video of Adamczewski. I told him that he is not available unless Skubal resigns with us for 4 years and 80 Mil after this year...He laughed and quipped I think he is looking for 80 million per year. Going again on Thursday and maybe Sunday.

I have been telling everyone at work to go see Made now...They are more excited for Fisher and Burke due to the Tennessee Vol connections.

Will be in attendance in Chattanooga tonight. Been waiting all season for this week. Going to at least 3 of the games.

Peralta looks absolutely miserable out there. Just a defeated man, having 0 fun playing a game he loves. Feel bad for him.

I am very appreciative of Woody's career. The Brewers can't take the 2 year gamble. 40 man roster spots are about to get extremely tight and valuable. Holding him over the offseason will be a detriment. Walk of Fame when he's done. Coaching job when he wants it, but it's just not smart to resign him.

Does Mitchell get 1 WAR added to his ledger for the year. Because this was his win
