  1. I'm starting to become skeptical of the Tigers being sellers. They are playing good baseball and are in the mix for their division and wild card. That team could come out of the AL with how weak it is this year.
  2. Are the Tigers really going to be sellers? They are 5 games back of the White Sox, and 3.5 back in wild card standings. They have been playing good baseball and have a +39 run differential. That seems like a team that could get hot and come out of the very weak AL. I would be pissed if I was a Tigers fan and Skubal was traded with how close they are.
  3. He would be way more palatable than Henderson, who I absolutely do not want to trade.
  4. This is the brutally honest and correct answer. Yelich's playing time at DH shouldn't be a given anymore. The team should still look to improve offensively at 3rd base. The lineup last night would struggle to push runs across against the Dodgers in a playoff scenario, which should be the barometer come October.
  5. Any chance we see him in Milwaukee by the end of the year? Do we really have anything to lose considering how bad we suck at third base right now?
  6. Hope to see him up this weekend for the Phillies series. He doesn't have anything left to prove in Nashville.
  7. I am wondering if today will be the day for Williams. It seems like Murphy has given up on Rengifo after his costly error on Saturday and his comments after the game. It would make sense to call Williams up during a homestand against a crappy opponent.
  8. My only concern with this trade is that the more lopsided it becomes the less likely other teams will be to trade with us!
  9. Short answer to this topic...We have one of the best pitching staffs in baseball but not nearly enough offense to win a World Series. They'll either have to get offense from within with a minor league promotion or via trade.
  10. Would anyone complain if Luis Lara got brought up for Mitchell at this point?
  11. I think you need to leave Miz out there for the 7th.
  12. Should have left Henderson in for another inning, as he was cruising:
  13. This team's ceiling is currently limited by its below average offensive capability. I don't think they really have anything to lose by calling up Pratt. I guess you could make an argument he isn't ready yet, but they must have felt he was close by the contract they gave him. This team has a high upside starting rotation that will likely be wasted by an offense with too many holes unless it can be improved upon.
