  1. Lucroy up. Zaun on the 15 day Riske moved to 60 day http://www.rotoworld.com/
  2. Hwy Mikes - I-94 and just south of hwy 158 on the east side frontage road. Better than your average bar menu and it's good. More of a sports bar. Extra bonus: They have Delirium Tremens on tap and usually have a couple good looking waitresses/bartenders The Boathouse (good food;mostly seafood - drinks; long islands)- Take hwy 142 east till you get to 7th ave, turn right/south, about 6 blocks down on your left. Captain Mikes was mentioned and is 2 blocks south on 7th ave but they don't serve food. Bull & Bear - Hwy 50 to 39th ave, turn right/south, drive about 10 blocks, pull into the KFC it's the building directly behind it. More of a restaurant/bar but has more of a "bar" feel. Excellent food. It' no smoking but they have a separate room. All 3 have plenty of t.v.'s for watching the game If your just looking to eat, drink, and catch-up, any of these 3 would be good. If you want to know where to go for more of a party atmosphere, let me know.
  3. Been a fan of Jeff Suppan
  4. Captain Harvey's is a must stop for Philly Cheese Steaks. There's one in Baltimore and Dundalk, neither is far from the beltway (hwy 695)
  5. I haven't made it to Appleton to see the Timber Rattlers yet and was wondering if anyone has been to a game a seen Kemp behind the dish? How's he look? Does it appear he'll be able to stick there? Arm strength? Foot Work?
  6. Two Guys at my work used Chantix and say that it just completely took the urges away and made it easy to quit. I quit for about a year using the patch, worked for me. Ironically enough tomorrow is my day I usually smoke a pack a day, I put a patch on today so I could cut down for tomorrow and only had seven all day. If you do decide to use the patch, make sure to never put one on at night time, it'll keep you awake all night.
  7. Quote:Eveland was given a tremendous chance to carve a niche for himself when Sheets and Ohka were injured last year, and flopped badly. He could probably use a little fine tuning in both conditioning and attitude. The Brewers realize they could regret the move later but Eveland just didn't appear ready to contribute anytime soon, and they want to win now. I don't recall ever hearing anything about his attitude. Was anything ever reported on this?
  8. Maybe if they planned on moving Braun to the OF, or else we'd just be delaying moving Hall to the OF by a year. Since everyone is speculating that Braun will be up sometime this year, then what? Move Hall to the OF then? They've already told Hall that he'd have a permanent position this year. Why prolong his OF growing pains by a year.
  9. How is Nathan Yoho still playng? 220+ AB's and he's batting .190! Plus he's 24 in A ball! Dont they have any better options in West Virginia?
  10. Look at the statistics forum, and the post counts in those threads, and I could easily see that happening to a "baseball travel" forum as well. There are probably a handfull of people that come here and care to get that in-depth with the statistical side of baseball, so I think the low post count was to be expected. A "Baseball Travel" forum would be for informational purposes.
  11. Brian, I was wondering if it would be possible to add a "Baseball stadiums" subject to the forums. There are always people asking questions about various stadiums/cities, where to stay, what to see, experiences, etc. Just thought this would be a nice feature to have as well as cutting down on duplicate threads.
  12. Anyone else notice Ryan Crew backing out of the box on every pitch?
  13. Did anyone that watched the game see the error by Prince? I didn't get to see the game but see that an error was charged to him. What happened?

  15. Anyone else think that the way Jenkins is hitting the ball that he should be in the 3 hole?
  16. Has Maddux even gone out to talk to him? Like another poster stated, it does appear that he is hitting the corners of the zone, just isn't getting calls.
  17. By the looks of it DD won't even qualify for his 10th win. At leasty the Scrubs are down 4 runs in the 1st
  18. All 3 pitches right down the middle and DD can't get the bunt down.
  19. Does anyone think that Braun will be bumped up another level before the year is up? edit. After posting he hits a 2 run walkoff.
  20. Anyone know who's, if anyone, is up in the pen?
  21. Reds tie up Cubs 5-5, still only one out and runners at the corners. On a balk.
  22. What LaRussa was thinking when Ned didn't PH Jenks. "Did I really invite this guy to coach with me in the All-Star game"
  23. Other guys with a 3.50 era: Jon Garland John Patterson Kerry Wood Jeff Suppan Matt Clement Actually, Garland, Suppan, and Clement are the only pitchers in that group that have more wins than Ben, and rightfully so with the offenses they have.
  24. That guy reminded me of one of those Chris Farley sketches where he pulls his hair out and acts all self-deprecating. I thought he looked like an overweight D Sutton
  25. How many lefties have we faced this year now?
