Thank GOD you are not David Sterns. For the fact that you think we'd have to give all of that up to get Whit Merrifield should basically just cancel out the rest of what you said. Take my advice, we aren't getting either one of them. Keston Hiura wasn't drafted to be traded. He WILL be our 2B for a while to come as long as he can stay healthy. Brewers and Mets won't be making a trade this season/offseason. You can bet the farm on that. -

HighHeat, my apologies. I just have a hard time personally believing a lot of the stuff that gets passed around. I was rude and I apologize for that. I think all of this waiting has just tested my patience and got me feisty.

So people still listen to what this HighHeat dude says? LOL. Look, anyone can speculate like he does....and let me be clear....that's all he does. Otherwise what happened to the AL team we were going to make a trade with like 2 weeks ago? Exactly I don't expect us to trade for Archer, but Odorizzi seems like he could be dealt for. I also do not think he would cost us even half what Archer would. I think we would have made a trade by now, but I think the Brewers are waiting to see whether we get Darvish or not. If we get Darvish somehow, I think that's the last big move of the offseason, but if we sign lets say Cobb, I can see the trade happening as well

Well that can't happen since he was just drafted. Another user reminded me that the new rule is if the PTBNL is not eligible now, he's not eligible to be an option.

I have to say, that getting 3 more top 100 prospects to push us to 8 overall is pretty exciting. Not to mention that we have a ton of guys who will eventually be top prospects already. I'm wondering if Braun is the type of player that gets put on trade waivers and something is done then.....have to wait and see but I'm not opposed to keeping him on. Anyone have a prediction on the PTBNL? I'm wondering if it's Cole Ragans being that they can't trade him until after the World Series
