  2. 2018 Brewers Season Predictions Win-Loss Record: 81-81 Playoffs (Yes, No): No Highest Playoff Level Achieved: None All Star Game Representative(s): Josh Hader Offensive Player of the Year: Travis Shaw Pitcher of the Year: Josh Hader Most Surprising Player: Brett Phillips- Dependent on either Santana struggling, or a trade opening up more playing time. Most Disappointing Player: Eric Thames- I think his 2018 season's perfomance was heavily reliant on one fantastic April, and a good September.
  3. 1) Corbin Burnes- Great 2017 season for Burnes. I'm really excited to see what he can do going forward. Hoping he can make the team at some point this year, but probably more reasonable to expect 2019 or even 2020 as his time of arrival. I think he can be an ace for us, at least a solid 2. 2) Keston Hiura- Hiura just keeps crushing at the plate. The only reason I didn't have him as my #1 was because of the question marks about his fielding. If he shows he can compentently field second I think he ascends to #1. 3) Brandon Woodruff- I see Woodruff as a solid 3-4 pitcher for us. Hoping things go well for him in the bigs this year! 4) Brett Phillips- Hit well last year, and can field any outfield position well. It's unfortunate to see him start the season in the minors. Maybe we'll make a trade sometime this season finding him some consistant time in right where I think he is best suited. Cannon of an arm. 5) Luis Ortiz- I think Ortiz is similar to what I expect from Woodruff, but he's a year or two behind him. Could be just a relief pitcher though. 6) Freddy Peralta- I think Ortiz and Peralta are really close to flipping spots here. I'd be fine ranking them either way. 7) Lucas Erceg- Great first year. Struggled last year. I think he can bounce back this year. If he doesn't, I'll be concerned about his production going forward. 8) Mauricio Dubon- I'm completely sold on Villar not being our answer at second. I think Dubon could be of help there as early as this year or next season. 9) Jake Gatewood 10) Trent Grisham-Formerly known as Clark. Saw him faceplant half way to third for an out a year ago in Appleton. I'll disregard the baserunning blunder in my ranking here. 11) Tristen Luntz 12) Taylor Williams 13) Adrian Houser 14) Aaron Wilkerson- Might see him in the rotation this season if someone doesn't perfrom or an injury occurs. 15) KJ Harrison 16) Cody Ponce 17) Josh Pennington 18) Ernesto Martinez 19) Jean Carmona 20) Jacob Nottingham 21) Trey Supak 22) Troy Stokes 23) Phil Bickford 24) Jon Perrin 25) Corey Ray- Kills me to put him this low. But for me if he doesn't perform this year I don't think I can imagine him ever performing well. Sadly dissapointing to see him never put it together since being drafted.
  4. 1. Lewis Brinson 2. Josh Hader 3. Keston Hiura (Saw him hit a couple weeks ago in Appleton. The only thing that impressed me more than his approach at the plate was how hard he ripped the ball. 3-hit game if I recall correctly. And every hit was a strong shot to the outfield. Honestly, might be the best in this system if the arm is okay. Maybe best pick in entire 2017 draft.) 4. Issan Diaz 5. Corbin Burnes (If his minor league performance of this year continues, he might be better than Hader) 6. Mauricio Dubon 7. Luis Ortiz 8. Brandon Woodruff 9. Brett Phillips 10. Corey Ray (Struggling from the start. Really didn't want to drop him here, but with how much he's struggled and how good my 1-9 is this is where I put him. I think he'll figure it out though.) 11.
