  1. I haven't made up my mind about the pitching staff, but I agree with your points about the lineup. I expect opposing pitchers to have to work a little bit more to get through our lineup rather than have the 6-8 spots just be automatic outs. I expect some "major league" at-bats to be happening across our entire lineup.
  2. Does anyone know the list of Top 30 prospects well enough to tell me who the new addition is to replace Adam Hill? I noticed he has already been taken down off the MLB list.
  3. I hope 99.999999% of this is correct. I want Huira here....more than i want that though, is that i want ABSOLUTELY ZERO of Travis Shaw in LF. We have 3 absolutely rock solid defenders (Cain/Yelich/Gamel) and also have Braun. Their is just absolutely no need for that, and you can't take those bats out of the lineup for Shaw at any cost. IMO of course!
  4. Why on earth would you smile about that!? Shaw getting called up right now would be an absolutely AWFUL decision. He's not even batting .100 in the minors right now and Huira is displaying some rock solid power at the plate. It would kill our offense.
  5. Tough loss and I'm never an advocate for a loss but there is a decent amount to be excited about with this game.... 1) 2 hits for Cain who since dropping below .300 has been fighting to get back up there 2) 2 more hits for Huira, he's doing his best to earn his shot up here for the remainder of the year 3) 2 scoreless from Peralta....regardless of his role, anytime you can get him out there for a scoreless outing, its a win for him 4) 2 scoreless for Houser, a guy who WILL factor into some games down the stretch for this team! Just realized there are a lot of 2's up there! just a coincidence! Time to get back on track in Wednesdays game!
  6. I know Cubs fans woke up this morning feeling all wonderful being in 1st place. And good for them, they deserve it, they swept the Cards (albeit at home) but still no small feat! However, given the fact that the Crew has played the toughest schedule in MLB to this point, and has had 5 less off days than CHI to this point...if I'm a Cubs fan and I see that we're only able to put 1.5 games between us and Milwaukee during that stretch, i'm pretty scared!!
  7. I'm going high on this, i'm almost scared to do it and cause any kind of "jinx" but I think we're going to be looking at a 16-11 mark for May. The schedule is a lot more forgiving, and our pitching seems to be getting a tiny bit sharper, from a rotational aspect anyways! And Jesus might be heating up! We've now shown we know how to win ball games w/o Yelich in the lineup. There is a lot to be excited about here this month!
  8. I'd like to see them go with Freddy in the pen...he struggled so much, i think right now it would be quite useful for him to just see himself completing innings 1 or 2 at a time without giving up runs. It could be a very quick way to build back up some confidence that he can get big league hitters out!
  9. I used to think he needed to find a way to have an average of .250 or above to remain in MLB, i've softened on that because of the way we utilize him and where he goes in our shifts defensively. Our defense would struggle mightily w/o his glove....if he could find a way to have an OBP of .250 i think we need to find a way to be okay with that! He's rocking a .283 OBP right now and i think it's unrealistic to expect much more, maybe he could get it to climb to .300 and that would be fantastic! I'd really like to see him bumped to the 7-spot in the lineup just to see what he can do with seeing a few more hittable pitches per night, but also understand then you bump a better hitter to the 8-hole making them less effective. He suits his purpose by filling our 8-hole and not complaining about it.
  10. I am all for letting a struggling guy work through things by staying in the line-up but if CC bats Shaw in the 3-hole again tonight right behind Yelich, i'm going to freak. Drop him down to 7 and let him swing through his issues. We need maximum production from the 1-5 spots in the lineup every night the way we're pitching!
  11. Is anyone else's leash running pretty short on Chase Anderson? He stunk most of last year, he got shelled all of spring training, and has yet to appear in a game in 2019 without giving up a dinger...i know it's early but every game this season matters. I just feel like we can't afford to have a guy "working through" such a bad problem!
  12. I think the best thing would be to call their season ticket office directly and hear it from them. Let them know your intentions and see what they say regarding their calendar, and see if you can get on their email list. I dropped my 20 gamer this offseason, though I think we had until December or maybe even January to renew. Meaning, the seats that had been mine weren't going to be available to guys like you until I declined my renewal. I would take a look at the existing packages and see which of those would look most appealing to you (Saturday, Sunday, Business, Pick-your-own). That matters regarding seat location. A couple of things that surprised me were the number of tiers of ticket types, and the lack of significance it meant whether I was a first year package holder or a 10th year package holder in terms of "moving up" into better seats. I sat in the Family Section (219) for a long time, Row 5, on the aisle. I assumed that over the years, I'd be able to move closer into the first row of the section. But there were lots of games where those seats would be empty. The first rows of the section were in a different price tier than my seats, so really, I was in the best seat that I was ever going to get at the price I was willing to pay. Another thing that confused/angered me was seeing people in the rows ahead of me who were not SSH, on a couple of occasions, I saw their stubs and saw they paid $25 to sit in front of my $50 seats. It wasn't often, and it's true that they didn't get the SSH perks, but it still stuck with me and made me wonder if being a SSH was really for me. I strongly appreciate all the feedback so far! This forum is a daily check-in for me! Much appreciated, like-minded Brewer's Fans! Anyone else with experiences/opinions, please leave below for me. I'm willing to bet i'm not the only one here thinking about becoming a SSH.
  13. My finances are currently tied up in SSH with the Milwaukee Bucks. But i am a die-hard Brewers fan. I will easily go to 15-20 home games this year, and already have trips to Cin, Pit, Minn booked for this year as road trips! For 2020 I'm looking to get a 20-game plan. What time of year should I get moving on that so that I can get the best opportunity/seating preferences that I'd like? Any help is appreciated!
  14. I have an app called Pro Baseball on my phone that pulls radio feeds from all games across the country. You just select the brewers game, and it will give you a few options to listen. some don't always work, but one of them usually does!! Great way to listen to Uecker w/o a radio present!
  15. FWIW, as a person whose been extremely fortunate to go down Bernie's slide, if you're afraid of heights, it's NOT for you!!!! Great experience, but hard to get through!
