  1. I'm glad it wasn't just me who saw his windup/hop and cringed
  2. While I do think this free agent class didn't have many great fits for our needs with the big-money folks, I'm with you. Credit is due to the FO for swinging some nice mid-season trades these past few years, but it always stings to be on the outside looking in, be it regarding free agency or, of course, for winning the big one. We have so much pitching talent, and I am hoping against hope that somehow we can get over the hump before it's too late. The Bucks' championship was so spectacular, and it would be indescribable if the Brewers could pull it off just once. (Was hoping to get this in before the "it's so gosh durn nice to make the playoffs these past few years, ope" crowd, but alas)
  3. According to Stearns, sounds like we might also just have a revolving door for regulars to get a day off in the field, which lines up with his statements about the core of the team already being here...although I certainly would love to be caught off-guard by another Stearns special signing here. PS: the site looks great!
  4. looking good ?
  5. There's no crying in baseball, yada yada yada...but I just can't get around how Counsell and Co. continued to let Yelich hit out of the 3-hole. Were they worried about hurting his feelings if the dropped him in the order? Because my feelings are very hurt with how this all worked out.
  6. Wow that hurts. Craig, you're the wurst. Such a bummer to have such a great season -- and such good pitching! -- yet still feel like we are at a major crossroads if we lose this game.
  7. Harrison Bader looks like he would have a YouTube channel in which he acts like a moron and pulls 'pranks' on people, begging you to "smash those like and subscribe buttons!"
  8. He really seemed to settle in right when that trade occurred. Maybe took a little pressure off of him. I thought that trade was Stearns acknowledging his mistake and it would be the beginning of the end for Urias...could not have been more wrong and could not be happier to be wrong about it This crow tastes delicious, indeed. May I have another plate please, Mr. Urias? Oh boy...Sogard strikes out Robertson hahahaha
  9. It says so much about Urias that he didn't shy away or pout when we acquired Adames -- he made himself indispensable. This is so much fun.
