    I'd rather see Vaughn face a right-hander than Yelich face anyone not in a nursing home.

    Unless he makes the adjustments that are necessary due to his declining bat speed and hand-eye coordination he will be almost unplayable as a DH. The only reason his swing path worked back in the day was because he had exceptional hand-eye coordination at that stage in his career and that's gone now. He has one of the worst swing mechanics on the team right now and at this stage of his career he has no chance without reworking it.

    Well I will say this much. If you're going to suck on a West Coast trip at least do it fast so we're not up till all hours of the night

    Right now Vaughn needs to be in the lineup. He's been one of the few guys consistently doing something almost every night and most of it has been against right handers lately.

    Looking like the second shutout in a week. Definitely is a conundrum that we need a bat but where you put him in the lineup.

    Not to mention Mitchell right now is in a pretty bad funk... two for 21. Yeah it's a right hander but a second day off in a row wouldn't have killed him.
