  1. Looks like he was out by 1/2 inch.
  2. Let's go, sac fly!
  3. The Toronto Blue Jays could use a Badger Mutual Insurance run.
  4. Beautifully done.
  5. I'm not ready to say good bye to baseball for this year.
  6. I'm curious about the ballpark (so to speak) figure he'll get.
  7. If you say so.
  8. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/10/25/sports/baseball/blue-jays-dodgers-trump-canada-us.html
  9. Not to get into it, but part of the reason is the current political situation. It will be interesting to compare the viewership to the Super Bowl, which was around 128 million viewers.
  10. 2nd and 3rd with no outs in the bottom of the ninth.
  11. A couple of outstanding breaking balls on display tonight.
  12. You sound like one of those argue to argue internet bros, so I’ll just leave it there.
  13. I have no problems with Willy signing for more cash. I’m still a fan, unless he’s playing against us.
  14. I thought we were talking about baseball. I hope people don’t take a transactional approach to family members.
  15. I would have had more respect for Greg if he just said he wanted to make more money, instead of the nonsense he was throwing out and expecting us to believe. Loyalty is a little bit of a thing, but it goes both ways. We can't have loyalty to players who don't perform well if we intend to win. We may have contract obligations though.
  16. My only contribution to the board about the game last night is that I loved Gimenez' 7th inning AB. He fouled off a few, waited for a good pitch, shortened his swing, and put the ball in play for a base hit. Ortiz could have had so much more success doing that instead of swinging for the fences every time.
  17. Never saw anything like that before.
  18. Siegler is 26 years old. Let's see if he puts in the work and becomes a more effective hitter when spring ball rolls around. And remember, his ERA is 0.00.
  19. There are some elements of loyalty, but in the end, people have almost always gone where they are paid more money. They should go where they are paid more money because they've earned it.
  20. https://reviewingthebrew.com/top-brewers-prospect-continues-to-prove-he-s-ready-for-the-big-leagues-in-2026-01k8e3ht95ef William Contreras had a one-year contract for the 2025 season with the Milwaukee Brewers worth $6.1 million, with a team option for 2026. The Brewers' 2026 club option is for $12 million, with a $100,000 buyout if they choose not to pick it up. The consensus is that the Brewers should think of Wild Bill as their potential long term catcher. How can anyone disagree with that? He calls a great game, often hits well, and is a true team leader in the clubhouse. And yet Jeferson Quero might be a superstar. I hope he's the backup starting in 2026. (I hope there's a season in 2026). Then we'll know what we have. If Quero produces like he's expected to, is he the better long term player behind the plate?
  21. Snell is not nearly as sharp tonight as he was against us. Looks almost like a different pitcher.
  22. A FaDuel betting ad to start the game.
