    A void at 8 and 9. I can't remember who advocated Yelich play left field to free up the DH, but I am behind that idea. Yes, he's getting up there. But we'd be asking him to play left field for a game, not cornerback for the Packers.

    Sometimes it takes professional sports teams two or three visits to the playoffs before they figure it out. Happens all the time. Next year will be our third time with a lot of this current group. Maybe we'll do something magical.

    Stadiums are going crazy and people are texting/taking pictures, etc. I'm just going by what a person said who was there. An eye witness, if you will.

    He's a strange guy. But the players have performed well under him, at least until the Dodgers series. That's pretty good in professional sports. He's just got to find the magic sauce to get them to play well in a series like this. I also have to wonder how much the cubs series took out of us. Yes, it was great sending home those sad cubs fans and their befuzzled manager, but that had to be exhausting.

    I know he's caught a lot of flack, but I think Murph has done a heck of a job.

    Oh yes. It was a time to love baseball with absolutely NO expectation that the team would play meaningful games in September and October.
