  1. I would give Colin the 9th
  2. Who would you send down? This isn’t September rosters in the past where you could have 40 people on the roster
  3. I imagine Colin goes 7th and maybe the 8th
  4. Injury delay is never good to see on gameday
  5. But what’s considered a “good decision” a lot goes into a decision that we don’t necessarily know about. What if someone came to the manager and said they weren’t feeling the best? Or if a player comes down sort of sick or he’s sore that day? They aren’t going to tell us every little detail and I think we need to give them the benefit of the doubt more often than not
  6. Maybe they’re being protective yet because he’s coming off a pretty serious injury?
  7. Sometimes good decisions don’t work and bad decisions work out
  8. Being a manager is more than just your in game manager decisions
  9. The Brewers have won 86 games and 3rd best team in the league. Gtfo with that
  10. Could it have been depending who was coming up? I really think Murphy liked the 2/3 due up in the 10th were LHH and Koenig threw the ball well in the 9th
  11. Curt Hogg @CyrtHogg Devin Williams said he understood the decision that was made in the 10th. Physically, he doesn’t have any concerns and told the team he was available. He also said he got up in the top of the 9th in case they took a lead. “If we would’ve taken the lead it would have been me.”
  12. Murphy said there was no one available in the bullpen besides Williams Basically the logic was with two left handed hitters to have Koenig face them and if there was 2 outs Williams would come in. He said there’s no wear and tear really from getting up and throwing in the pen and coming into the game is much different on the body The logic makes some sense if they only wanted Williams to throw 5-10 pitches max
  13. The other thought is with two lefties Murphy wanted to get by using Koenig and save Williams but it was clear he didn’t have it at all
  14. They really have no one else outside of Williams. Parades through like 40 pitches yesterday
  15. Or he’s unhappy because he felt something and got hurt
  16. Maybe when he warmed up he felt something?
  17. Only way this makes sense is if Williams is hurt and couldn’t go today
  18. Arizona offense is so damn good
