    Like is it so hard to simply say the May trade has been bad so far but if he turns it around and is big in the postseason then it would be worth it? Why do we always have to make rash judgments on whether or not they “won” or “lost” a trade after one month?

    Everyone thought the Brewers crushed the Red Sox in the Harrison trade and look how that turned out Maybe we should judge the trade after the regular season and playoffs and not based on one month small sample size

    He’s had 3 really bad starts and 3 really good starts. Small sample sizes and one rough start can skew things Before the Orioles start he had a 1.8 ERA the previous 2 starts Against the Padres this year he’s had 3 starts and gone 22 IP, 3 ER who Brewers might face in the playoffs

    I don’t think recent performances means they are gonna suck in October If the Brewers scored 40 runs in 3 games against the Cardinals would you have no concern with the offense anymore because they just destroyed offensively? Or would it be meaningless because they would have to face the top pitching staffs in the game?

    Because May could completely suck the last few starts and turn it around in October. Same as Harrison Just like Mis could dominate regular season and have a couple blow ups during the postseason. It’s baseball. Things happen If May went 8 innings and 0 runs today he could literally get shelled in the playoffs. Start tonight doesn’t mean anything. Some days you wake up and have your good stuff, sometimes you don’t. Sometimes you get lucky and have everything hit at someone, sometimes you’re not lucky Just chill and enjoy the best team in baseball and not care what happens in October yet when anything can happen
