  1. I totally get that point of view. Ragsdale could be another Brantley from the CC deal. But we considered that win, just by making the playoffs. But the way I see it, May also has a mutual option for next year that’s a little bit less than Woodruff got for hi QO this spring. Which could be activated. Five more years of Henderson, and 6 years of the two or three prospects they didn’t trade, and 8-10 more starts from May, seem to be a lot to give up for anybody. Even if Ragsdale and Frias become all stars, They were pretty much blocked here and may have not gotten the chance here anyway. I’m guessing that Chourio, Payne, and Lara will be the outfield in Milwaukee three years from now.
  2. I see the topic of Skubal coming up a lot. But people seem to overlook the fact that the May trade wouldn’t have been done if the Skubal trade happened. So the Brewers have May, Henderson, Romero, and whoever was going with Henderson to Detroit (pick two… Lara? Payne? Adams? Pena? Or Adamczewski?), instead of Skubal, Ragsdale, and Frias. Seems like a win for the Crew
  3. This is an overpay. But looking at what the return has been for others, it seems about par for the course for this year’s trade deadline. it’s either overpay or get left behind.
  4. He probably tells all the players to rent instead of buying homes.
  5. Questioning our front office these days is diabolical.
  6. I think another lefty starter is the way to go. The Dodgers, Braves, Phillies, Cubs, Pirates, DBacks, Yankees, and White Sox are all left handed hitting dominant. Im on the Robbie Ray bandwagon. I think a Ragsdale level prospect could get it done.
  7. Thanks for the feedback?
  8. I was a bit surprised they extended Burns after Greene has been hurt like he has. i just basically looked at teams that are selling and are weak at the catching position. To me, Alejandro Kirk will be a DH before too long. That’s why Gausman is in the original post.
  9. Thanks!! I’ve read here for a while and finally decided to chime in.
  10. Things are finally in motion. I’m thinking Skubal will be a Dodger with Ohtani’s knee shelving him. So, I’m thinking Quero is headed somewhere. Either by himself or in a package. Here’s my ideas to what they could get for him. 1. Robbie Ray- To me, this is the guy. I’ve been saying this for two months now. One for one…..or possibly a Wilken type prospect added to the mix. 2. Hunter Greene- Quero in a package with Sproat might get this done. 3. Kevin Gausman- Quero and Payne? 4. Logan Webb- Quero, Jett Williams, and Knoth Gimme some feedback!!
