I take the Sunday lineup on Monday thing back. Wolf is hitting .385 against Dempster, more then adequately covering for Nieves.

I didn't get a chance to watch the game due to yardwork, but it was certainly nice to see that our closer grillaxed some cubbies (curse you Terry Sweet)!

Minor appears to be someone we would have crushed last year. Here's to hoping Prince can get on track against this guy. I'm already going through Captain Morgan withdrawal, he certainly put on a show for us yesterday! Go Brewers!

Well, I read the Fan Forum etiquette. I am far more worried about getting Derek Lowe'd than rickrolled. A Sinkerballer is nearly as deadly versus Brewer line-ups as the dreaded First major league start vs the Brewers. We will break through somehow, go Brewers! I actually received some sympathy this morning in Scottsdale, AZ! If random fan_00 thinks the Brewers are going to start rolling, then who am I to doubt them (memories of the late 90's notwithstanding).

I am happy to see Morgan in the outfield! This lineup still looks a bit ugly and will for a while yet. I don't have a good feeling about this game as Beachy has a grand total of three starts, meaning he will probably throw a complete game 2 hitter. Beachy will either be peachy, or life's a Beachy and then you lose.

Ned Yost new manager of Kansas City Royals

Good luck Ned. It seems that a lot of people forgot all about Garner, Lopes and Royster and the gigantic sinkhole that the Brewers represented in the standings during their managerial stints. The teams under Yost got me interested in Brewer baseball again; I dared to think that we were more then a last place team. Yes, Yost is limited as a manager: he is stubborn, and a little too gritty-battling-gamer for my tastes. He IS a good motivater, and he believes in his people. I know that it will take more then hope and motivation for the Royals (like talent), but Yost is a good manager to start moving them away from the bottom.
